A commendable effort by Pooja Kushwaha. There is no point in gaining knowledge, if you don't share it. I complement Pooja's command over Quran. She has set an example.

Pooja's elder sister, Nandini imparts local kids lessons on Bhagawad Gita. Seeing this, Rani Khuswaka,  mother of Pooja proudly says that she was proud of her two daughters. This support given by her mother made Pooja to do this commendable work. Even the Muslim leaders in the city lauded Pooja's work

It goes without saying that Such instances will  lead to communal Harmony.

EX president Dr. Kalam also believe in Geeta. All holy books are for welfare of human being.

I don't have the link but got to know from a friend of mine that a bakery shop in Ludhiana run by Sikhs made an idol of Ganesh with chocolate. They decided to immerse the idol in milk on the day of Ganapati visarjan and serve the choco milk to the poor children. Once again it's proved, God is one. A Sikh celebrating Hindu festival and serving the needy, thus for a good cause religion is not a barrier.

They are celebrating Hindu festival it is not important but it is important that they give an unique idea to celebrate Ganesha's birthday. Most of peoples are using POP idol of Ganesha which is harmful for envoirnment.

Environment friendly issue is a different subject in regard to this thread though worth praising. I started this thread to signify the secular mentality of the Indians in spite of gory acts in the name of religion.  

In Bangalore in some areas most of the flower decorations for public display of Ganesha and even the flower arrangement and decorations during dasarah are done by Muslims. They become part of the festivities too..

Yes, the idol which is made from plaster of paris harmed the environment when the idol is immersed in water. So we should learn from them who does their rituals with no harm to nature.
