Being able to do and failing to do is the biggest sacrilege.
I think the other way. There are many right things to do but you cannot choose all owing to limitation of time and energy. What is important is to choose what you are most capable of and do those correct. Personally I do not regret for not doing certain things. The regret is only for doing things wrongly. or doing wrong things.
