Good advice of anyone, particularly spouse should always be welcome. I think that in matter of family, husband and wife should act by consulting each other. But a husband or even wife need not consult each other in non family matters.

My mother always advices me....."You need not earn 5 or 6 digit salary. But you should earn at least a small amount so that you need not depend on your husband for your small needs. He may give you everything, yet you should do your part".

Looking after the kids and family, cooking food and keeping home clean and tidy is also an effort. Yet, only a few people notice her work. Isn't it???

Also, I think, if she earns a living, she gets a little more respect from Sasural and also the society. What's your opinion??????

Yes women should earn at least some money. So they are not depended always on their Husband.I think Sandhya use earn your pocket money by Boddunan.......

Even if that amount is small, it gives a lot of happiness, satisfaction and of course self respect.

If women are able to find a small amount to financially support the family, her husband will also feel happy. He will think, she is seeing how am striving hard for the family. Even if all men won't think so, am sure at least a few men will be there :)

Actually am also seriously thinking nowadays to earn a small amount through online.....

We have a proverb, it's related to Ramayana.....
How many of you know the story of squirrel, that helped Vanaras in its own way to build the bridge?

"Annaan kunjum thannaalaayathu".....It knows well, he can't contribute more...yet, he did what he can do.... :) :)
