    I don't think this is good idea. Instead of gold, one can buy currencies.

    I had no such idea of currencies but in my opinion buying gold is a better idea.

    Property and gold is the best investment for all. RD is also helpful at emergency .

    Property is one of the best investments ever, one can take a loan against it in an emergency since the only disadvantage is that you cannot sell it easily when you want...

    I too invested in SBI mutual fund recently but its Gold fund....Don't know how much beneficial will it be in future....After investing its really unpredictable whether we will get any profit or not...
    Even presently gold is not safe and we may not get expect profit...due to tax leaved while sell it ....I think real estates is better...


    I too have invested in SBI mmutual funds and since the time I invested the fund has gone slightly below the price I paid for it .But there is a guaranteed return at the end of the period so no worries , even if I dont get a bonus ! I too feel that real estate is the best investment ever !

    Purchasing of land is the good investment option I think. One of my neighbour 25 Lakhs from buying and selling the land. He is working in Hyundai company and doing this as a side business.

    Buying and sellin property is one of the best investment but one has to be very cautious while making the deals.

    In and around Bangalore there is a lot of scams going on with farmlands being sold to people making false documents while it is a fact that you cannot buy agricultural land unless you are one.Many people have lost money because of this ...

    RD = Recurring Deposit ? I too feel that it is one of the best investment plans since it is safe...But the problem with bank deposits is that you will have to pay interest after a certain limit which with some juggling, you can escape when you buy property ..
