Spamming is a prevailing issue in the internet world. We cannot avoid them completely however we need to educate the people not doing it.

I hope members are reading the thread. Whatever we do on the site or anywhere in net should be useful. Anything not so useful for points only is not good to any one.

Some comments when seen it is clear that they had put just for point purpose only. They might havn't read a single line of the article. That is why I once suggested to put an award for best comment also.

I think comment should be meaningful and it should be right English sentence and error free without grammatical mistakes.

When readers go through an article with a serious mind and post their comments, the wirters feel encouraged even when those may not be favourable but casual remarks simply don't even amuse them!

Most of the comments seen in articles are, nice information keep it up or Very good article etc. This really tells the reader hadn't gone through the article.

I think that comments in articles be discontinued. It will be better to invite reviews on articles in not less than 250 characters. containing comments on language and style, contents, format and suggestions if any. The review should get 20 points.

Yes, reviews with more points are better than present system.

I am not in favor of its complete abolition and let the members use this with imagination and purpose.
