In a country, where boys are given preference in every thing and girls allowed to die in mother's womb itself, I think parents get more love in return from girls than boys. What's your opinion???

if there had been an valid scale to measure love then it would have been very easy to answer this question.
Most of the parents love boys than girls because they will bring dowry to them.

Question is about kids' love towards parents.

May be absence making relations more strong. Girls can't see parents everyday, once they are married. Also, they will never get same love and care in her second house. It intensifies her love towards parents. Also, when she becomes mother, she knows how her mother has cared for her. It is also one reason.

But Sandhya before marriage too girls care more about their parents. :) I have seen it with my cousin when my uncle got ill and admitted in the hospital she took care of him and the only son which he had could not cared him like his sister used to do.
I have only one child and that is a daughter who loves us like any thing, girl and boy I see both of them in her only. I have the best daughter in the world. :)
It can not be defined as love can not be measured. Many times it looks that girls love more and sometome feel that son.But showmanship may be there. After marriage to a daughter it is quite difficult to care her parents.Boys after marriage go under wife.
So this depends upon actual relationship and scope.Only one can not be defined..It is moral duty for both boys and girls to love and take care to their parents.

And what about them before marriage were they more caring? :)
Look this is not same in every case although girls are more loving and caring by nature. So is applicable in case of parents also. There are psychological reasons behind girls being more loving.

I prefer both as they both are my children. Some selfish persons show difference not in my thoughts.
I still think daughters love more to their parents because they are more bound with them mentally.
Deciding about love to parent is very difficult only parent can answer well for this thread.
