As each year passes by, we are adding one more year to our life.
Does each increasing year bring more maturity to our life and character?
What do you think?

Let me add something more.
What are the best qualities of a mature person, how he adjusts to different situations?

maturity will obtained based on his/her Education ...

Education is just one among those factors. Not the first one.

yes, each year on year is added and mind maturity occurs in us.

Does it mean old people have more maturity than youngsters or people below 30?
Is age the only factor to become mature? [/quote]

Age is not the only factor! It is the way of thinking and processing depending upon one's past mistakes and experiences and how the person will react to a situation. Maturity only reflects your rational and reasonable responses to crises and also, in my opinion, humility!
Maturity also includes lot of patience, positive approach and a good mind to forgive others' faults, even if you are right :)
Negative experiences if taken wisely can of course increase your maturity...because it is not the number of years counted for you to become mature, but accepting your faults and moving forward by taking them as deep lessons. :)
I am waiting for more answers. I don't want this thread to exhaust. What about opinion of others?
You mean this thread will never get old and mature? Look you said it, the one who walks on never gets old.
Ok. let me start walking...sorry riding.....
I want to be more young

To remain young one should walk on his/her feet not on her/his back. This will sure make one old soon.
In most of the cases maturity comes with age :) but there are exceptions too that it does not come even with the age or it comes early in a person.
I agree with Sarala that maturity depends upon the way of the person think not on age.
Emotional stability and patient reactions to others' words and acts constitute maturity. Maturity comes with age but the process may be slow or fast. Thus many are immature even in old age whereas some get maturity at young age.

Yes our company that we keep does wonders to our knowledge etc. That makes us wiser.
Only mature people can keep themselves calm, even in bad situations. Am I not right?
I agreed .Every passed year addens some experience in us which we utilize in the incoming time.
yes, the year which add to our age gives maturity in us, in our thought and even attitude and in deeds.

But only to some extend....we can't say I will be more mature same time next year. But we can of course say, after this task....I can gain some more maturity
Excess of everything is bad. Excess maturity may rob you of humor, play and lighter side of life. Perhaps, I am not yet mature enough even yet.

No Sir...I won't agree. You are the most mature person among us.
I agree with the fact that excess maturity may make us more serious :S
