Is there the need of a stick?

yes, as a parents we should make our children understand their mistake and make them know what is right and what is wrong. if they do wrong what will be the consequences we should make them understand then they will never repeat the things

Only Polite is also not good. This will make your child more strong in committing mistakes.
So,the fear should be there in child,of thinking before he/she commit mistake.

Children are very naughty.They do not listen their elders not even their teacher.But that does not mean that we will beat children with stick.We should speak with children politely and in a very friendly manner.If they still behave badly then we just simply show your eyes and scold them.Or just make them scare with what you feel that your children gets afraid of.

Sometimes the stick teaches them more than love. But Rarely i use stick to my children.

You are right and Mother may be a good friend to a kid as she remains very close with a child.

Actually children fell sick if they are badly scold and beaten by the elders. It is also true that they may not feel scared of being beaten with stick after certain age.

There is need for balancing. Too much love and too much scolding/ punishment both are improper.

There is no need of stick but there certainly is the need of strict vigil on children. They must be kept under strict discipline for their better future.

Before people used to use stick and control their children, but this generation children won't listen to us if we use stick more over they become more stubborn. so it is good to control them with our love and sweet words
