Just wanna know the most popular guys over the forums

I also thought about this Karma first.But later it was understood that it is given by users which is not so important always.

i have also more than 5 karma then i become most popular guys over the forum...

My karma point is still negative -12 previously it was -14 thank god its improvement.

i think it must be the gushan kumar ajmani sir.

Gulshan Kumar Ajamani has even ceased to be a proper noun!!! "the gulshan kumar ajamani"!!!

It is too far for me to reach a goal to get karma 5 as my karma is in negative number.

Karma means that your fate in our language,i.e is in telugu.

Karma again on discussion? I think look to the forum who are there always.They are the real karmas!!!

Most of the users do not have knowledge of Karma system as it is something new on forums. So getting positive karma rating is bit difficult as most users do not use the system. To increase the awareness of what the Karma system is, I have started this topic.

The main idea of the Karma system is to give thumbs up to the member who is helpful to other by posting good informative content, resolving new user queries, actively involving in the discussions. This is one way to motivate the people to do much better. It is something similar to give some appreciation or giving Thank you to the member.

So this topic give the insights of boddunan members who are more popular as well as helpful to others. And the new members can find the person who they think is most helpful and put them their query right from this topic or from any other topic.

And another important thing you should consider that the people will remember those who are popular on some community and can discuss about the good things they do or point to the topic/article of the popular member. This way you will get a good identity on the world of communities.

So guys I hope you understand why I have started this topic and please do let me know if you have any other questions.

I guess Karma is still not much used. If I like a response I generally use the "thank you" option.
But, i still do not understand in what way a high "karma" rating is useful.

Maverick sir discussed very nicely. My karma point is 4 now.

Santhosh Kumar had made a high jump in Karma from -14 to +10! really great.

Like, points are useful for revenue sharing, but does Karma serve any specific purpose? Still not clear about that! :huh:

Kimberley, Karma is just a kind of "feel-good factor" thing! The more positive people rate you, the better your positioning amongst everyone on the forums. You could say its a measure of your popularity among others!

Yes Kalyani defined it well . I think karma define your work on boddunan like quality of posts.

In some cases it rates the popularity.As in the case of Santhosh he is popular in this site since its starting.But his Karma was negative for a long!!!

I thinks the most popular guys over the forum are the Abid and Gulshan sir.

As per karma point of view Gulshan ji has highest point so he is winner on most popular guy.

Santosh,Gulshan ji,Mukeerjee,sarala i know this persons are the best ones.
