@Gushanji

I think you have missed the point I was talking about revilutionary condition which culminated in a new revolution. I also don't agree that Anna's movement is only helping only such narrow sectarian interests.

Anna movement has done well by speeding up the Lok Pal legislation process. But the things like storming the legislatures and MPs to support the anna draft cannot be appreciated as our system party based. The various acts of the anna team areonly disturbing and anarchic.

The sectarian interests are definitely taking advantage of anna movement. This is evident from the fact that they create disturbance in parliament and air their views in Anna meeting pretending to give support to the movement though actually they do not fully support. Anna may be well meaning but not the politicians give him lip sympathy. They use his platform only for own benefit. Similarly, the team members are themselves corrupt and have questionable agenda.

It is worth mention that Anna only wants honesty from government employees and judiciary but he is not bothered about corruption and dishonesty of NGOs, businessmen, professionals etc. His own team members have NGOs receiving foreign funds that are used in anarchic acts obviously to serve ends of their foreign patrons.

@Gulshanji

I have not come across any information that Anna Hazare has excluded the ones you have mentioned. As we all are aware that corruption plaguing these NGOs and et al are actively encouraged by people in the government whom Anna has set as his target. Even in West Bengal with the change of guard,we are coming to know the activites of similar NGOs which were floated by the ministers of the Left Front government in the name of their wives!

The proposed LOK Pal Bill submitted by standing committee includes NGOs in the Lok Pal jurisdiction but team anna opposes this. Obviously, team anna is not concerned with corruption as such or even with malpractices of NGOs. The standing committee proposals are yet to be approved by government and presented before parliament. It is not understood why anna is targeting Rahul Gandhi by name and ruling party at this stage. Obviously the team anna is not interested in any constructive solution of any issue but bent on creating conditions of anarchy.

I too feel the same way! Great Digvijay even insinuated that he is in league with BJP eyeing for President's post!

Did any body watch the debate between Anna's team and people like Salman Kurshid, and two other people? Debate was held recently in Kolkata.
@Abhishek

Unfortunately I didn't know it and I feel missed a good opportunity!

Anna Hazare announces 'Jail Bharo' from January 1...he sems to be so active in this.
Looking at the problem dispassionately - the ultimate solution lies in a negotiated settlement within the parameters of the system and his oft-repeated threats are nothing but means to extract more on the issue of corruption. Let the bill come and be passed and there is always scope for fine-tuning in the form of subsequent amendments!
Anna Hazare already done his fasting and even left it also.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

It is best to have maximum consensus between ruling alliance, opposition and various civil society groups. If consensus is not possible, majority view must be respected by all. Ultimately, parliament is supreme. Mobocracy is not democracy. We have representative democracy based on party system and not neither direct democracy nor party less system as conceived and cherished by anarchist groupslike anna team and once conceived by jai Prakash Narain.

There is no need to act in hurry out of fear of the anarchist groups. It cannot be said that presently, we have no anti corruption law and machinery. Almost daily, CVC and CBI are acting against corrupt persons. Institution of Lok Pal is definitely not an incarnation of God that would bring Ram Rajya as rightly stated by veteran shiva Sena chief bal Thakre. Presently, CBI is supervised by CVC. It is proposed to bring CBI under proposed Lok pal. If done so, CVC will be superfluous. It is unfair to burden the exchequer with extra burden. It may be okay to rename CVC as LOk Pal and give some more power.
