Perhaps certain spells of anarchy are not that bad for a functioning democracy!!

certain spells are good and necessary and i feel that anna hazare is crossing the limits now.his statements regarding the beating of drunkards and the pawar slapping issue have become highly controversial.
It won't be proper to blame Anna Hazare and his team for creating rather the conduct of our politicial leaders and political parties have contributed to the present state of instability!

Is this Vikram Vetal story. Certainly Anna is not in the robust health like Vikramaditya. Vikramiaditya could answer the questions by Vetal unlike Anna who rather expects answer from government to his anarchic plans.

Anna had invited political parties for expressing their views and answer public queries on Lok Pal Bill. It is learnt that BJP, Left parties and some others have accepted anna's invitation. This is a positive step as gathering will get an opportunity to listen even those outside the team anna. This may also bring better understanding between anna team and others. This is welcome.

He has been proving to be a good catalyst! I am sure he would play the role history has assigned him to!
The standing committee of parliament has submitted the report on Lok Pal Bill with some dissent notes. The cabinet is to consider the report along with dissent notes and then present bill to parliament. Then parliament will debate and pass the bill with or without modification.

it makes hardly any sense to undertake fast or organize protests when the parliament process is on. It is anarchist and undemocratic to pressurize parliament and government by such protests. It also makes no sense to equate parliamentary standing committee to ruling part or cabinet who have yet to consider the standing committee report and present bill to parliament. It is still worse to blame Rahul Gandhi for 'weak Lok Pal' recommendation of the standing committee.

What is the solution for ending the farce of parliamentary committees. Parliament is elected by people. If people have been electing for last sixty years the members who play gimmicks, they have to thank themselves.

The issue is that there are people who will never actively join politics but lament from a distance about what they want. You cannot clean and rectify the system from a distance.
