Western Ghats fails to make world heritage site list

India's Western Ghats did not make it to the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites list released today while the Manas Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam was removed from the danger list.

    It is a mountain range extending through Kerala, Krnataka,Goa and Maharashtra.
