It is one of the finest question which i have ever seen. I think the idea behind getting the name google lies with a team of members who took hard efforts for building such a great engine to surf.

Yes, Google derived its name from the word "googol" which was termed so by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American Mathematician Edward Kasner!!!
