No, not an expert exactly, just a working knowledge. As for tricks are concerned this solely depends on administration.

Gone further down? Strange but nothing to worry. What I feel that Alexa does not read every unique visitor especially who haven't its toolbar on their site/browser. Moreover that toolbar is compatible to IE and FireFox only.

I checked its PR. It is going up. there is nothing to worry.
