It has been discovered that removal of tobacco display curtails the consumption. Hence it will be appropriate to ban display of tobacco products at places like railway stations, theaters etc.

    Prominent and attractive displays does make a person want to buy a certain thing, a strategy so cunningly adopted by the tobacco makers!

    There are few monthly magazines in Maharashtra who do not print any kind of advertisements related to tobacco, rum, whiskey etc. and similar products! similar stand can be taken by many that will go a long way in bringing down consumption of these products!

    Please click the link in my post for answer to your query. It was found that removal of display reduces number of new consumers.
