How many Hindus settled abroad will come back to India if given a choice to do so. So let us not be patronising towards Muslims who are equal citizens of India. Hindus settled in UK were openly wooed by its PM during last elections. What is wrong in that. You are confusing issues. Please be specific.

I am as clear as I want to be and what is being discussed here is what Taslima has said in an interview an if you have issues against that , I cant help you ..

It is true that Indian constitution gives equal rights to all citizens. We always raise our voice whenever there is attack on secularism. Certainly we cannot compare ourselves with Bangladesh where there is no freedom of religion and speech. All secular minded as well as minorities are targeted there. Recently a science teacher was killed because he told his students that certain thing stated in Koran is not true. India is much better although in recent times, there have been brazen attacks on minorities- Christians as well as Muslims- and also on rationalist intellectuals. There was recently a big debate on intolerance. However we talk of intolerance, we do not compare with Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.  But this also cannot be ignored that the extreme Hindutva forces have every intention to force their fascist design on the country. So we need to fight against communal and fascist forces. 

There is extremism in every religion , much more in Islam than in any other religion and we see its impact on the whole world , so the o called liberals need not even refer to Hindu extremism which is not violent and terror based . No doubt that many incidents that take place get blamed on Hindu groups especially so when it is a Muslim who is at the receiving end or a so called intellectual ! This fact has also been taken advantage of by our ever conniving political parties and there have been incidents where the goons of these parties commit such acts wearing saffron robes so that they can be easily identified as Hindu groups...These are all political games played by the political parties and their allies. In fact even  criminal goondas like Lalu and Mulayam speak about Fascist force, without having an iota of knowledge about what it actually means, so let us not use big words here against Hindu groups, rather use them where they should essentially be used to describe activities of certain communities ..

Goons of some party talk of secularism in the guise of and as Congress workers so that the party can be criticized.Extremists of any religion need to be condemned. It is foolish to compare Indian model with countries like Bangladsh or other similar countries. Anyone born in India is an equal citizen whether he is a Ram or Rahim dos not matter. Constitution is  supreme . Narrow minded persons can leave and settle in Bangladesh with similar people like them and enjoy their company.

Having a terror bomb like Bangla Desh and Pakistan as our neighbors is scary to say the least. According to Tasleem most of the terror and fanatics in Bangla Desh support ISIS and Hindus are not safe there ..S, it is not possible to have a healthy relationship with both these countries. whether we like it or not it is because of religion and Religious groups..

Terrorist activities are not treated in same manner in Pakistan and Bangladesh. The latter is still officially secular and makes efforts to catch and punish them . The moot question is do wevwant to treat all our citizens equallly or get colored by religious dogmas.

There is no one yardstick and what was practiced earlier was a total failure going by the situation that has been created in Kashmir and the many communal riots and terrorist attacks that have taken place so far .. India under UPA had shown that it is soft on minorities and will overlook many of their misdeeds while bashing down anything that the majority community does...This will not be tolerated by the nation in the future. The leaders will have to use the same yardstick to everyone who shows anti national and terrorist tendencies which will definitely help in gaining the respect of the minorities too, since they have been manipulating the system wherever possible..

Exactly...Taslima knows what she is talking about because she is the victim of her own clan's intolerance or sorry, should I say, extremely friendly and tolerant attitude!
 Incidentally, did anyone read the report about the few Kashmiri Hindus who are incarcerated in a transit camp in Kashmir, suppressed, depressed and scared to death, in their own country? While Sepratists roam outside their compound shouting anti-India slogans in broad daylight? With a situation as worrisome as this, can we blame the rise of so-called saffron terrorism?
