Some people are always conscious about their health and beauty. They take all necessary steps to keep their body fit and beautiful. Some of them wish to see their partners also in the same condition. Therefore, they bring some restrictions to their partners personal matters. Behave according to the character of your partners.  If your husband/wife doesn't like such interference, do not try to control them. Let them do what they like. People want freedom. Let them give.

According to them, education is the best way to get good job and to earn income for running a family. So they all like to marry after getting a good job. Financial stability is no doubt a must before getting married but the concept is changing now with both the boy and the girl working and sometimes the girl is working while the boy is pursuing his higher studies or in a few rare cases even unemployed. However, it depends on individual preferences...These days many couple are going in for live in relationships as well which further pushes the marriageable age higher ! True...financial stability is also now a major influencing factor nowadays when marriage is considered. Along with boys, even girls now want to be financially secure and stable before getting into wedlock. Perhaps it is because now more girls are taking sole responsibility of their parents seeing that most families are now nuclear ones.

Kalyani Nandurkar said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic Is there a perfect age for marriage ?.
@ Kalyani I agree that lifestyle and demands of the society one lives in plays a dominant part in deciding the age at which children get married and since arranged marriages are still very much a part of it , parents have more say than the children. But things are slowly changing .. @anil, rambabu ,  I agree that in large and even small cities 25 or even 30 is not a great age since it takes that long for both boys and girls to get settled in their career and stabilise before they think of getting married.

rambabu wrote: Yes sir. Army of Pakistan is more powerful. But as the things are happening, some hope for a friendly relations are appearing. Who can say what's in store for the two countries ? Hoping for the best , and keeping fingers crossed is the only thing we can do at this juncture.   Thanks rambabu, but this peace will remain elusive when you see that Pak amy is thirsting for revenge for creation of Bangladesh.

Knowledgeable persons in intelligence are aware that there can never be peace between Inddia and Pakistan. the reason is the Pak army desire for revenge for bangladesh. Why? becuase the Mukti bahni was no force in Bangladesh and it was Indian aarmy in guise of Mukit bahni that operated in East pakistan.  There is more to it, but the politics of revenge will prevail.

I would say, Sharif's gesture of calling Modi, opened gates for hoping cordial relations between the two countries. Irrespective of the outcome, I can say that it is a good start.

This is the first time the two Prime Ministers have spoken after Modi's surprise visit to Lahore on December 25.  Through his phone call to Narendra Modi, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawas Sherif assured that their government should take swift action against the Panthankot attackers. Both the Prime Ministers agreed that sincere and cooperative relationship between the two countries would be the most appropriate response to the immoral designs of the terrorists.

Substance abuse is such a dreadful habit, if left unchecked in proper time, children will become the slaves to bad habits like drinking and drug addiction. In this respect Parents should keep a check on the movements of their children, though it is not possible always. But, parents are not left with an other options.

In our country most of celebrities, politicians and rich persons use law in their way. Only a few are punished, and those who are punished are given special facilities in jail. Sanjay Dutt spent most of his time out of jail even when he is sentenced for jail for six years. Many times he is on pay roll and special leaves.

Parents and teachers should tell the children about the harmful effects of alcohol. Our children should be made aware of the bad effects of using alcohol or any other drug.
