Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Why do we go gaga over actors and new films?.
The tragedy in our country is that the film stars are treated as Almighty. People are crazy to know what is happening in an actor's life, how the movie is being made and they love to cook new stories around the actors and actresses so that more and more gossip can take place, and a nice way to spend time. So, it is not unusual to go gaga over the actors

took the quiz Hobbies and their names.
We all have a variety of hobbies right? But do you know the technical name given to your hobbies? Here I am going to do a quiz about a few different types of hobbies and their names. The quiz is going to be on the tougher side since we don;t usually hear such words. But oh well who said hobbies are simple?:P Anyways all the very best for the test. Do well! INJOI!!

Whenever I visited Nepal I found its people very friendly but same was not the case during my visit in 2009. I think the Nepal is more influenced by China and the relations with India will further deteriorate. I am sorry to see the only nation that was associated with Hindus has lost its status. Medheshi Community that worked real hard for uplifting Nepal has been treated too badly in its new constitution.

I read today that the government sector today is able to offer only about 9% of all jobs but perhaps it offers 100% security and pension after retirement two very vital reasons why even Phd's are tempted to apply even for a peons job. Pathetic but true.
Securty can not be only reason for PH.d joining as peon. The qaualified engineers, doctors or even computer specialists will not accept such low job. This just shows the irrelevance of most degrees. Many degrees are not even worth the paper on which printed. What can you expect from a M.A. (English literature) who cannot even draft a simple business letter.

At last, Nepal is secular republic. This is a very big advancement from Hindu monarchy state. Let us hope that the new secular republic of Nepal will prosper and flourish. However the new Republic is facing some issues mainly Madheshi regiuonal issues. Madhesi are mostly in Tarai reguion adjoining Bihar.

The dishes mention here are non-veg.. Here in Rajasthan one raita was prepared with a seed of shurb, called fogla. It is now not available.
Is it dried Anil? I have never heard of this so far , but I know that a lot of dried vegetables are used in your cooking..Got this information when I googled, there is a mention of Fogla in it.

I am speaking from memory and am subject to correction. The great engineer M Vishvesvaraaya (pardo spelling if wrong) had also advocated river linkages and perhaps K L Rao a technocrat Minister in the sixties also had done so. One of the constraints was the huge funds required then but today fiscal liquidity is much better.

No need to worry for future generations will not know what they have missed because they in the first place did not get to taste them.
