I have heard the name of Moti Pulao but I have never heard the name of the other food items. Another astonishing fact I came to know that the white pearl in Moti Pulao is made of egg white.

Friction and opposition are inevitable when there a NEW thing is introduced.. People have their suspicions and doubts. Only time will prove the benefits or losses.

It's not an announcement. The work for developing Vizag as a smart city is in progress. By the way, the work for Clean and Green Vizag is assured. But takes time.

Since a majority of the people have voted for it, it is a good development but whether it will be a good development or not has to be seen. There is bound to be some friction when a new change takes place , as long as it does not explode into some thing bigger and leads to unrest.I visited Kathmandu a few months before the devastating earth quake , earlier this year and found it a lovely nation with very friendly people ..

I find this strange that there are no tamarind trees and that trees are disappearing just because of an announcement made by the center...Even in a mega city like Bangalore this has not happened because with all the negative aspects the city has, old trees and yielding trees like Tamarind are well looked after and maintained.I feel that the fault lies with your city administration rather than the smart city project..It has not happened in my city either although it is also on the list of smart cities selected !

Pathetic but true.   Securty can not be only reason for PH.d joining as peon. The qaualified engineers, doctors or even computer specialists will not accept such low job. This just shows the irrelevance of most degrees. Many degrees are not even worth the paper on which printed. What can you expect from a M.A. (English literature) who cannot even draft a simple business letter.  Quite true. I had an experience of this kind. A section head having a degree in literature in the P.R Department of a Major Steel plant, used to write, " I does not know. "

Let's hope that Nepal's political leaders will display the necessary flexibility and maturity at this crucial time to ensure a durable and resilient Constitution that has broad-based acceptance.

With the disappearance tamarind trees in my place, Vizag, a very delicious preparation called PULIORA or Tamarind rice too has become a thing of the past. Courtesy development of Vizag into a smart city. Now Pulihora is available in  only in the packed form which is loaded with chemicals for increasing shelf life.
