No doubt A. R. Rehman is one the best music composer. I don't much about his music but I listen songs of Rosa, Choti se Asha, very very nice one. Every music composer have their own style and flavor. No one should criticize. Jagjit shing is master of his style of music and Rehman is his own style.

Bathukamma is the floral festival of Telengana state, This festival falls on Mahalaya Amavasya. This festival is celebrated by the Hindu women of Telangana state. Starting from today Bathukamma festivities last for 9 days

It is quiet hard for a person like me not to address someone with more respect with suffix like ji or gaaru. This is so because of the continual habit since childhood and the fact that we are truly Indian at heart!

The question is surely not one of one's fundamental right to protest which should be defended and protected at all costs and under circumstances especially in an environment which is being vitiated by elements who are out to endanger the rich mosaic of Indianness but the credentials of a duplicitous set of writers whose past conspiratorial silence is comparable to one being practiced by Modi. He is the most garrulous PM India has ever seen but remains mysteriously or deliberately not even monosyllabic in condemning activities of lunatic who are no longer on the fringe but right on the centerstage! I know law and order is a state subject and the least that Modi could have done is by making a bold statement that his government would not tolerate such intolerance. That would have conveyed the right signal.

Dusserah or Navratri is a festival celebrated across India in different ways.Here in Karnataka Dassarah is celebrated for nine days when schools have holidays on the beginning day ( today ) and the last two days when Ayuda Pooja and Vijaya Dashami are celebrated. In Bengal it is The festival when Durga Pooja is celebrated with a lot of pomp and is the time when families get together from what I have been told by my Bengali friends..

I have already mentioned in my previous comments that there is nothing wrong in returning the award. This is a kind of dissent that they try to reflect against the increasing intolerance. So, there is no reason that the forum members are seeing red about this protest of the writers. As some experienced members have pointed out that why they kept quiet during some other disturbances and we see that some experienced journalists have also raised this question. So, here we are only discussing it especially because we wish that the writers' action is not politically motivated. If so then it's a matter of concern as well as pity. Writers enjoy high esteem so if they speak or act in protest against violence towards mankind then no one will raise a question but it will be questioned if they want to show any political bias.

Even In AP also they celebrate Navaratri by keeping stalls for goddess and everyday they decorate her according to the avathara on that day.

Writers can protest by their writings or by surrendering the recognition they have received. They can come together and organise a march. Being small in number and scattered perhaps returning awards is a way of conveying their resentment. Yes like so many other acts this also will be forgotten. But should one not even protest when times required to protest is an important question? It surely registers at whom it is directed.

In Telangana Batukamma festival is officially celebrated. It is also called as Engili Pula Bathukamma. It falls on the first day of Mahalaya Amavasya also called as Pethara Amavsya in Telangana region. A colorful floral festival indeed.

True, A. R Rehaman uses modern equipment for his recordings of compositions. Then hands over individual notes to his arrangers under whom Percussion instrumentalists and wind instrumentalists work Rehaman is a very hard working Musician who never goes to the recordings without Rehearsals.

Aaj Jaane ki zid na karo is a very famous Ghazal of Farida Khanim, also sung by Asha Bhosle ! A R Rehman might have liked it ! however, Rehman is a very talented composer no doubt about it ..

A simple way to increase the self esteem in a poorly performing child in studies is, saying " Come on my boy. You can do better " boosts the ability of a child in increasing Self esteem. Of course this fact is known to quite few parents. But there are many ignorant parents who resort to " Comparing " with other children , not knowing that how disastrous it is to compare which certainly leads to low self esteem in a child. A child with low Self esteem will become a pessimist in the long run.
