Studying about World History and Indian History makes us headache. Many people lost their life during the time of Muslim rulers. That is a fact. King Ashoka was a Hindu ruler. He also killed so many people of his dynasty. Whatever happen in the past, now India is a sovereign socialist secular democratic republic. Our constitution provides equal opportunities to all the people of India regardless of sex, colour, language, caste and religion. Enjoy this freedom and lead a very happy life.

If poverty of your arguments makes you a loner why dub the majority as 'fascist'! What do you think friends? This is the first time I come across such horrible mindsets. The majority,if there is one at all, are
being unfairly accused of running a sister outfit of RSS! This is the quality of tolerance of our erudite member! We get regular,at times grindingly boring,lectures and sermons on the virtue of pluralism from him.Physian,heal thyself!!

India has a large Muslim minority and a small but articulate Christian minority. These two communities have not adjusted to the fact that over all come what may, political power will be with Hindus. Muslims dream of 900 years of their rule and chrstians of the time they were a pampered lot during British rule.
They thus bring up bogey of Safron terror, Hindutva and what not. Christians dare not open their mouth in muslim nations and Muslims do not accept Hindus as equal where they rule, but in India both want special privileges. in this they are encouraged by some Hindu groups also. This is a recipe for disaster.

The problem is the defination of the word secularism. America is also secular, but minorities cannot have their personal law. In India secularlism means a personal law based on Sharia( against the constitution) , Haj subsidy for Billions of rupees and openly flouting the unity of India and keep shouting Hindutava, safron brigade etc. Nobody seems to talk of Indian Mujahaddin, Jammat and league? they are I suppose passe.
In our officers messes we were all concerned by such acts and many wanted a go ahead for stern action. I wont write more on this, but secularism does not mean pampering..

After his release from Jail on bail, Kanhaiya Kumar the Union President of JNU made a one hour long speech on the University campus. Here he pledged his commitment to fighting for freedom not from but from India. During his speech, he didn't forget to criticize Modi and BJP government.

The Haj subsidy was started in 1922 as a ploy by the English to divide Hindus and Muslims. In 1959 it was expanded by Nehru and presently the government spent Rs 8.6 Billion on Haj subsidy in 2009. figures after that are not aviliable. Many members by the tone of the discussion must be wanting this subsidy to be doubled.. What a hole in Indian budget. The supreme court has called for its abolition by 2022, but nothing has happend as vested interests continue.

Going by the above argument it looks as if what we learnt in history was either untruth or the historians were a pack of liers...Some people would go to any length to prove black as white ..
