Is it pre-decided that World Cup will be won by teams in India's group ? then it is a case of group fixing.

No. Ghoongat only for the newly wed and that too only in presence of elderly visitors. No need for ghoonghat all the time. This is just a formality. Mostly women don't wear ghoonghat even in presence of elders. But for a newly wed this is considered desirable for at least first year.

Wearing a sleeveless blouse is accepted almost everywhere. So I am surprised that comments were passed even on that , when ladies wear halter neck and off the shoulder blouses with sarees..how ever, I feel that one should ideally dress according to the occasion and also blend in rather than stick out and attract unwanted attention.

vijay replied to the topic Is there a relation between Genius and food ?.
The connection between food and genius is a forced relationship. A member states that curd and rice eaten by Tamil Brahmins is reason that they are at top in all companies mentioned by him. I am sure lot many non Brahmins in TN also eat rice and curd and they also must have reached high positions. Also the observation that non veg eaters are prone to violence is laughable. Some of the most virulent observations and remarks are equally made by vegetarians. Stretching relationship between food and genius is outcome of a particular food intake by the original proponents of this theory.

vijay replied to the topic BJP and coming elections in states.
Agreed chances of BJP sweeping these states are less excepting Assam where it may do good to very good. In TN it may tag along with AIADMK and it may gain more seats in Bengal at the expense of Congress. But voters are final decision makers. To expect BJP to be radically different from Congress in itself is a utopian thought because except for few leaders at top, below the followers are similar.

BJP is a branch of R.S.S.- a fascist organization- that repeatedly talks of Hindu Rashtra. I remember that some RSS ideologue once wrote that Muslims, Christians and communists are enemies of this nation. The term 'communist' also referred to Pt Nehru whom RSS considered as following Soviet Union. They are mainly confined to Hindi speaking area. Their old slogan was- Hindi, Hindu, Hindustan.
The BJP came to power at center not by getting mandate from the entire country. BJP cleverly made intensice campaign in states like U.P., Bihar, M.P., Rajasthan etc where the saffron party has significant presence. The electoral success in these states gave the BJP a mandate to rule at center. The BJP also successfully persuaded the non Hindus also on development agenda and slogan like 'sab ka saath sab ka vikas'.
However, the BJP leaders lost their head after the parliamentary success. The began working on Hindutva agenda like ban on cow slaughter and made provocative speeches. It needs mention here that even top BJP leader commented in Bihar- "If BJP loses here somehow, crackers will be burst in Pakistan'. They are still doing so. Consequently, the minorities and secularists are rethinking. BJP lost in Bihar- a Hindi speaking state.
The states going for poll are all non Hindi speaking states. It is possible that BJP may get some negligent success some where. Excep Assam, they are nowhere. There is much at stake for BJp as they cannot get majority in Rajya Sabha unless they get good number of seats in state assemblies.

The food habits will also change. What is uneatable today may become eatable then. Most probably, people will not eat solid food. They would just take capsules thrice a day. The insects. sea food and many other things may be powdered and made tastier and filled in capsules for human consumption.

Natural therapies are non invading therapeutic methods. The best part of Natural therapies are they do not have any side effects. I do yoga either in the morning or in the evening. Yoga has the potential to cure many chronic diseases And it has been scientifically proved.

True...most often, a child's reluctance to go to school is due to separation anxiety, fear of being away from the mother in the company of strangers. To overcome this, the teachers also need to work to make children feel comfortable> When my son first going to play school, his teacher had a policy that the first two days, mothers also had to sit in the class with her child, third day onwards, we just had to wait outside the classroom at a place from where our kids could see us. Many women used to complain about it saying their time was being wasted, but I felt it necessary and important. Because my son never once cried in school, even when he started attending regular school which was 8 kilometres away and has to travel by a school bus alone. So making a child comfortable and secure in the school is very important.
It is good that your son is being so sensible and has adjusted so well, because I know some children take months together before they get used to the routine. My youngest daughter hated school in the beginning but after constantly talking to her, and the teachers, things became easier..
