My suggestion is There should be respect tag with profile as per point base. For Example if member is new and less points then Starter, more point then Junior, more point then senior then expert category etc.

Maharashtra cricket association argued that they purchase water for its use and also water is not potable and cannot be useful for drinking purpose.
The MCA and crazy cricket lovers will argue any way they want because they want to enjoy watching the match.
It just goes to show the pathetic state of average India human mind, selfishness.. I sincerely hope that the court takes a strict view of the issue
True Usha, and it is not just a few parts, but more than half of the state is reeling under severe drought, there is not a drop of water to drink for animals and humans, Places such as Vidarbha and Marathwada get water once in 8 to 15 days and here they are about to waste almost 7-8 lakh liters of water daily on the upkeep of cricket pitches. Truth is that, several bigwig industrialists such as Ambanis and others who hold large stakes in the IPL matches will stand to lose money if IPL is canceled. And in a country where cheap entertainment such as IPL and Bollywood movies are glorified and celebrities from these two fields are worshipped more than God, who is concerned if the rest of the state is dying of thirst!
Kalyani, cricket has always been there and loved by the masses but the IPL , which was started during the UPA regime by some of the then ministers having a vested interest in it along with the cricket board . In Fact the style was created by Mallya, the cheer leaders and the glamour and sale of players , one can see his stamp on it !!!!! honestly what a low for a glorious game like cricket. ..

usha manohar created new topic After two years in power Narendra Modi remains the most popular leader.
No matter what kind of defamations and criticisms are hurled at Mr Modi our Prime Minister, he goes ahead with agenda of development without flinching. The Indian middle class is with him and according to the survey conducted through major cities of India, Narendra Modi tops the list in popularity and Arun Jaitley the finance minister too is ahead of other opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi.

These pseudo nationalists are nothing but high pitched shouting brigades whose only aim is to fight Congress even when they are royally snubbed by Pakistan. See how they beat Indian flag waving students black and blue in Srinagar while every Friday ISIS and Pakistani flags are waived openly and not a single person is booked.

Coming back to the topic, I am told by visitors that Pakistan is a much cleaner country and better organised than India. I have visited Karachi which was more or less like one of our busy cities but Islamabad is supposed to be a cleaner city and people don't use the public places as toilets like they do here in India.
That is surprising indeed! I think in India, apart from some North Eastern states, generally all open, public places are treated as trash bins. It is very surprising that the cleanest village in Asia is Mawlynnong which is in Meghalaya, I have seen a video of it on FB. If they can do it, why can't the others?
I tried to search for the video but can't find it now, but did find the Facebook page, worth checking it out by every one!

What a lovely place, definitely worth visiting and like you said Kalyani, if they can do it why not us ? It is all so natural and unspoilt ! let it remain so for decades to come ..

@ M G Singh - The communal mess that is our country today , it would not be easy for RSS or Modi to put things right straight away. They will have to do it step by step , first to untangle the mess and then only one can get down to business.Of course there is a section that is watching like a hawk trying its level best to bring down the morale of the present government ..
These hawks can be ignored.. We know their mission is defaming a great leader.
No doubt we are ignoring these hawks but it is not enough. Indeed Modi and BJP government is pinching in the eyes of some person like thron. Even some leaders of BJP is also pulling leg of Modi.
That is bound to be there especially from turn coats who will be instigated by their former party members.. But one can see Modi and his team of minister's determination in everything he does and a few unrealistic criticisms by communal and Fascist forces that want to destabiise him and the nation does not really matter as long as the majority is with him and BJP!

usha manohar replied to the topic BJP and coming elections in states.
Public opinion always matters in a democratic set up probably not for one family party and such other communal and anti secular forces , who work solely based on corrupt practices, let us leave that aside because for today's government it does not matter, what really matters is its own overall performance and how well it has been received by the people ...
BJP leaders are realists and know the reality much better than opposition or the communalists who think they are experts in everything after having messed up with the nation.. Any small gain is a gain for BJP because it is making its presence felt in these states which is good enough for now..

On 14th April it is the first day of Baisakh according to Bengali calendar which will be celebrated as the Bengali New Year and the day is known as Poila Baisakh. Poila means first. So, every region will celebrate their New Year around the same time, I suppose. Thus, Happy New Year to all!
Happy New Year to you as well...We too celebrate New Year which we call as Ugadi on the 14th of April..Normally we decorate the front door with flowers and mango leaves to usher in the new year and have a vegetarian meal. The special dish we make on this day is a Payasam made with green gram dhal, tender cashew nuts and jaggery ..
We are celebrating Gudhi Padwa today which normally falls on 14th April each year, but it is for the first time, at least as far as I remember, that we are celebrating it today on 8th! We decorate a long bamboo staff with new cloth, garland of flowers, a specially made garland of sugar medallions, a branch of Neem leaves with its new flowers, a branch of mango leaves and top it up with a copper or silver lota on which swastik is drawn using kumkum. This staff is then put up outside our homes, also called as 'Brahma Dhwaj" it marks the beginning of Shalivahan Shak, as a day to mark the victory of King Shalivahan over the shakas.

Will you please define 'akhand bharat'. I don't think that BJP presently even dares to talk of this. Akhand Bharat or Undivided India means restoration of the position that existed just before independence. In fact, the unity of the country is at risk because of divisive forces like R.S.S./ BJP rather than Congress and other secular (you may call pseudo secular) forces. Incidentally, the position in many parts of country especially Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur is better today because of the secular (pseudo secular according to you). Even in Kashmir, it is the secular (or pseudo forces like National conference, Congress, lone CPI(M) MLA) who are really facing the separatist forces. The BJP is on the other hand allying with PDP that is close to the Hurriat separatists. similarly, BJP is close to the Pro Khalistan Akalis in Punjab and the shiv Sena in Maharashtra, which is physically attacking the 'outsiders', especially those from Bihar and U.P. Thus it is clear that BJP is only for power and has no hesitation in allying with anti national, separatist and other divisive regional forces.
