It is not right to dismiss Congress party as having done nothing because what we have today is what they have done although they could have certainly done better. The worst period of their rule was the last five years when they had everything going for them, it became the epitome of corruption. The previous years were taken too lightly by Nehru and Indira Gandhi who was more worried about consolidating her position. Although Congress had many great leaders , it is a pity that no one got their due because of the Gandhis who overpowered everyone.  Yesterday in one of the media debates Mni Shankar Aiyer , who seems to have sobered down quite a bit now, had something to say on the subject When asked why the party depended so much on gandhis, he sais we need them not they because we are united under them , the moment they leave the congress party will become rudderless...I agree with that ! So as long as Congress party remains , there remain the Gandhis at the top !

Terrorism in the earlier days was associated with Patriotism and a love for the country, however, nowadays we see that it  has religious leanings and is communal by nature. All terror groups need a cause however misguided it may seem to others...It also shows that basically the society and its norms has to be blamed for breeding terrorists.

Of course BJP will definitely try but one can see how it is met with by the hard liners in the valley..Of course these are early days and I am sure there will be other more affirmative steps taken to settle the Pandits in their rightful homes. http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/sainik-colony-kashmiri-pandit-row-malik-geelani-says-do-or-die-situation-for-kashmir/1/671393.html

Kalyani Nandurkar wrote: Great tips, it is quite true that saving money consistently is albeit difficult unless there is a clear goal. If we wish to have something dearly and set it as a goal, then the task becomes quite easy. Yes Kalyani , unless we have a goal it becomes difficult to control ones urge to spend. I for one am not very good at saving and unless have a clear goal or commitment can go berserk at times. But having some long term goal really help us curb our expenditure and save. Having fixed deduction from your saving account to to a deposit account can help a great deal because you learn to manage with what is left..

Fascism is a special philosophy and exists from Roman times. i shall give my ref to Fascism. Those who talk of RSSbeing a Fascist organization, I am afraid do not know what Fascism is. On this subject i shall not cross swords with people who parrot "fascism" not knowing what it is.        I agree that this is a term used loosely by anyone and everyone when they want  to describe someone or something they dont agree with and we have to take it i the same spirit, that it actually means nothing or very little...I am quoting an interesting take of Fascism that I came across in an article written by George Orwell.. It will be seen that, as used, the word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else. Yet underneath all this mess there does lie a kind of buried meaning. To begin with, it is clear that there are very great differences, some of them easy to point out and not easy to explain away, between the régimes called Fascist and those called democratic. Secondly, if ‘Fascist’ means ‘in sympathy with Hitler’, some of the accusations I have listed above are obviously very much more justified than others. Thirdly, even the people who recklessly fling the word ‘Fascist’ in every direction attach at any rate an emotional significance to it. By ‘Fascism’ they mean, roughly speaking, something cruel, unscrupulous, arrogant, obscurantist, anti-liberal and anti-working-class. Except for the relatively small number of Fascist sympathizers, almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’. That is about as near to a definition as this much-abused word has come. But Fascism is also a political and economic system. Why, then, cannot we have a clear and generally accepted definition of it? Alas! we shall not get one — not yet, anyway. To say why would take too long, but basically it is because it is impossible to define Fascism satisfactorily without making admissions which neither the Fascists themselves, nor the Conservatives, nor Socialists of any colour, are willing to make. All one can do for the moment is to use the word with a certain amount of circumspection and not, as is usually done, degrade it to the level of a swearword.

rambabu said thank you to MG Singh for his/her reply to the topic What the Rise of Narendra Modi Means to India.

Just imagine people calling RSS a fascist organization, I could die laughing on a bed of nails. At least read about Fascism please.

Some have a single point agenda.Blind belief on a particular party, which is rusting and became obsolete.  Such people never try to learn the things. Modi's meteoric rise has become an eyesore for them. But the reality is, Modi will remain as the idol of this Nation. There is a saying. " Suraj se Kiran, Badal se pawan Kab tak chupegi. " Who can stop a rising Sun ?

MG Singh wrote: The Congress really deserves no sympathy. Right from the time of Nehru, the people gave them a lot of love, but they betrayed the nation. This is a fact and now Congress is synonymous with corruption and looting the state exchequer. The only solution is to jail all the leaders from Rahul, Sonia, Kalmadi, Shiela Dixit and all others . Not forgetting the rail minister Bansal > they destroyed the nation. Also, the DMK leaders must give them company in jail like Raja, Maran, Kanimozhi etc.  India is too precious a nation to allow these crooks to continue to live a lavish style.   Betrayal is the innate trait of the communal party Congress. I agree with you that this country had given this party innumerable opportunities for quite a good time, which they abused for their own families and lead to the heinous practice of ' Family rule'. The congress doesn't deserve any sympathy. The Nation had enough of the atrocities committed by Congress. It is essential for the country to put Congress leaders  behind the bars at the earliest.

Very useful tips. I have been always saving money before making any purchases. I make sure I have set the goals and planned by purchases, it helps to save good amount of money. Some times not able to save a whole lot of money but even the smallest amount adds the good value.  During school days I use to save money in piggy bank which I use to make out of plastic box or something like that and would set a goal that I will open this box only when I have to acheive certain goal. This habit helped me a lot.

Bajirao answered the question Martial arts for girls.
I believe girls should learn martial arts and such self defense techniques. They should be able to atleast protect themselves in case of danger.  Infact every parents must make sure their daughters are at least aware to deal with  the unsafe situation. It is not necessary that every girl who learns martial arts will turn bold and arrogant or become like boys. Martial arts will in fact will boost the self confidence and make their brain and mind aware to deal with the situation. Parents cannot protect their children all the time, children should also learn to deal with the unforseen circumstances.

Yes, the capsules help to ingest the medicine otherwise it becomes too difficult to consume without it unless we dissolve the content in large amount of water.  I tried consuming the medicine without capsule, just removed the medicine content from the capsule, added in the water and drank whole water, it was too bitter. It didn't caused any wrong effect on my body but it was not edible to take the medicine without capsule.
