rambabu replied to the topic Should Yoga be imposed?.
Those who link Yoga with Hinduism is Unaware of the fact that presently, Yoga is being highly favored by innumerable number of Christians, Muslims and almost all the religions of the World. I fail to understand, why a therapeutic method is being linked with a religion. Sounds ridiculous.

However, both were equally capable of leading the nation  You are right both are capable person but situation which India was facing at the time of Independence, Patel may be proved better than Nehru.   I too agree with that because Patel apparently had a single minded determination which would have helped India greatly during those formative years which sort of paved the way for future turn of events.

Fan Clubs and idolizing movie Stars is a very common feature in the Southern part of this Country. In Kerala, to my knowledge, there are no Fan Clubs. In AP it's more but not as much as Tamil Nadu. I don't know the condition in Karnataka. It's a well known fact that most of these fan Clubs are patronized and financed by the Actors them selves.

Quite interesting. Increase in pass percentage in Government Schools and a decrease in Pass percentage in Private schools are good for a change. Will this trend trend continue or not has to be seen.

A friend if mine, who has just returned from Tirupati, was narrating a spine chilling incident seen by him in the Tirupati Ghat Road. The ghat Road is quite narrow and big boulders will be touching you if the passenger do not close the windows of the Bus. A person who was sitting by his wife's side just opened the door suddenly and smashed his wife's head against a  protruding boulder. Seeing this, the conductor stopped the Bus. But that person escaped in to the thick woods, knocking the conductor. Later on, the news channels reported that this heinous act was committed for the woman's property.

Life is miserable now with such people around us. No one knows when one may become a victim of such evil trap.   True Shampa, such acts are done by people who truly have evil and twisted minds! What is worrisome is that the numbers of such people are increasing!

They are very strict but pay you as soon as you reach your payment threshold ($5).  It would be great to have the same rule here, so that all members earn equally for their efforts and those interested in " sharing knowledge " regardless of whether they get points or not can go on posting to their hearts content ! i think this site has the best facility and i think there is no such necessity which we should change   True...we don't really need to change rules but need to change the way we deal with those who break rules and ignore advise/warnings!

I hope you read at least Sunil's post properly. Member/s love to sermonize others while they shamelessly do Everything possible to grab points. Reading articles and getting points is a one time gain but posting randomly the same thing on different ways is certainly that needs to be looked into. But I understand the limitations of the admin there, which is what makes the members manipulate and the advantage of.. Yes Usha that is the bane of this community and sadder is the fact that there are senior members who do that. But hopefully we can take care of it soon.

suni51 said thank you to Kalyani Nandurkar for his/her reply to the topic Can development happen at the cost of rich agriculture?.
Development at the cost of agriculture is a short term development and will only prove disastrous in the long run. Already when the population is exploding at an alarming rate leading to unemployment and food shortage, the solution to these problems can only be found in sustainable agriculture methods, which unfortunately does not bring quick money and hence, is being thrown aside carelessly.
