In my previous article I had told about the theory put forwarded by Italian Scientist Galeleo Galili. The theory was named as law of inertia. In this law Galeleo pointed that a body continues or try to continue in its state of rest or uniform motion along a straight line. This tendency is called inertia.
Now come in to our question. A vehicle is moving with some velocity. Naturally a person in that vehicle will have the same velocity as the vehicle from his foot to head. For example let the vehicle be moving with a velocity 40 Km per hour. A passenger in that vehicle will have the same velocity 40 Km per hour. His body will also be moving with the velocity 40 Km per hour. His legs velocity will also be 40 Km per hour. When he descends from such a vehicle moving with some velocity his feet first comes in touch with ground. If he stops suddenly the velocity of feet becomes zero. Still his body will tend to continue in the velocity of the vehicle which was the body’s velocity also. That means leg stops and body moves. The result is nothing but hitting the nose on the floor , loss of some teeth and paint of body !! Now if he does not stop all at a sudden on landing from the vehicle , but runs for a small distance legs will not come to zero velocity. The effect of inertia will not make more problem also. So he can land safely.
So next time when you step down from a moving vehicle practice this method .Remember never step down perpendicular to the direction of vehicle. Also never to the opposite direction of movement of vehicle. If done so definitely you will fell. So run a small distance in the direction of movement of the vehicle itself.
Warning: Jumping from a moving vehicle is injurious to wealth (and health also)!!!
