Many times we would had visited Zoo and would had seen Lion, Cheetah, Tiger, Gorilla and many other animals. We prefer to see the dangerous animals like lion, cheetah, tiger from very far. But there are some Women, yes you heard it Correct, its Women, who have decided to live with these dangerous animals and they are caring and preserving them. Today I am going to share about these women who are very daring to live with these animals.
Lets one by one we have a look at these ladies.
(1) Petit Lazmi : Ring Master
The height of Petit Lazmi is only 5 feet 1 inch, but the daring of this 25 year girl is beyond the limit of sky. Petit Lazmi is of Israel origin, but she conserves in Africa’s ‘Seaview Lion Park’ with 30 Lions, 10 Tigers and 3 Cheetah, overall with 43 aggressive and dangerous animals. Earlier, we would had heard that there could be daring people in India, in Gir forest, who could nail the lion’s tail. Petit Lazmi, does this daily. She roams here and there by nailing the lion’s tail. Petit is fearless and moves with more than 2 to 3 lions with her. When petit was 2 years old, at that she had came to this Park. From that time, she loved this place. She started to Conserve these lions and this results, that she is the Manger of this Park. When somebody asked her that, didn’t she fear? She tells that, yes, she fears from lions but she has taught the lions not be aggressive. This results, that these lions and tiger have become non- violent. They also agree to Lazmi’s instructions. The baby lions and tiger always cry, so lazmi tells that the caring of these child lions and tiger is more important. The Park is spread in 2 hectare and various cage of these animals are kept. For tiger there are 3 water wells for Bathing. Every day Petit takes them for walking. She plays will them and then she puts them to the cage. This is how these animals are preserved and people from far away places, comes to see these animals.
(2) Kira Salak : Real Lara Croft
Kira Salak is the women who likes to roam in the world. She is the first Women to travel a 1000 Kilometers in Niger river till Timbuktu town in Mali. She haven’t swim while travelling, but she travelled in a small boat. She has also travelled to dense forest from one corner to another in Papua New Guinea. She is also the first Women to go from one corner in the forest of Papua New Guinea to another corner. While travelling in Papua New Guinea, she passes though such places, where the people, first time saw a White lady. This lady has traveled at every Continent and she goes to such places, where no one has visited or travelled.
When she was travelling in Mozambique, she was caught in Civil War. Someone had Kidnap Kira and she somehow, came out from that kidnapping. Due to this Hobby of travelling, she has become the travel writer and she got the Best American Travel Writer Award 5 times. She has also appeared in TV Shows and she also got the Award for Emerging Explorer of National Geographic Society. In the Alaska, she has done the cycling for 1300 kilometers and at the present she is deciding to cross the Mongolian Desert by sitting on the horse. She is travelling since she was an age of 19. Normally, Men do these type of travelling, but in the field of men, she is No.1. She is called the Most Daring Women on the Earth.
(3) Eugenie Clark : Shark Lady
Eugenie Clark was born in year 1922. She is 90 year old today and she is still passionate about shark. She still dives in water for the shark. In the world, this women is called shark lady, was a marine biologist, who would study the Internal of Marine life, also called Oceanographer. While studying and researching, she researched about shark and gave interesting facts. She has retired now, but still her research about the sharks are still going on.
She stared her work in year 1940 and this has result in getting 3 times the degree of Doctorate. With the help of her research, she has wrote 3 Books and more than 160 research papers. When she was doing her research, she used to go for the research in the depth of the ocean and overall she took a dive in the ocean for 71 times. She used to go in the Submersible vessel for research. Wherever she gets the news of the new species of fishes in Ocean, she was ready to have a dive and go into those research of these new species. Because of her, the world was known about the poisonous fishes. Right now at the present, she is fighting with Cancer.
(4) Dian Fossey : The lady of Apes
In the Continent of Africa, on Rwanda Border, there is an area of Mountains and this is the only place in the world, were Gorillas are found. In the world, people don’t know much about this place. In year 1932, Dian Fossey was born in San Francisco and from the childhood, she was interested in realistic. When got the opportunity, she came to Rwanda and started to study of Gorillas. Because of his attempts in her study, the left out baby gorillas were seen to the world. Gorillas were started to conserve from poaching and on Virunga Mountain, National Park for Gorillas was buit. Dian always used to live with Gorilla. She researched on Gorilla and wrote a book “ Gorilla in the Mist”. This book became the Best Selling book. Also the poacher were also having a sharp eyes on hunting Gorilla. The poachers were able to take a lot of advantage, by hunting Gorilla, but the Obstacle was Dian for the poachers. This results that on 26th December 1985, Dian was kidnapped by the poachers, who was researching and conserving the Gorilla for 18 long years. On the second day, she was found dead. In the Volcano National Park, her body was buried. Geographic channel do sometimes broadcast information about Gorillas.
(5) Meena Venkataraman : Himalayan Tigress
Meena is native of Uttarakhand, and from the childhood she was interested in Gujarat’s Lion. In the Dehradun, she joined “ The Indian Institute of Wildlife” and started researching on Lions. In 2003, she started her research. To know Lions and research, she came to Gir. With the help of Gir Rangers and authorities, she did the research for 6 months. She has find many reason for the population of lion. Her research was in so depth, that her research was broadcast in National Geographic Channel. The problem for Meena was to make their parents agree for her, so that she can go to Gir and work for the lions. Her parents don’t wanted her to go there, who was un-married and was of very small age. But still Meena had agree them and then she started working in Gir. She started going to jungle and been alone, in the starting she was fearing. She has to follow lion, been silent have to wait for hours and hours, these work were little difficult. Today she works in Indian Institute of Wildlife.
(6) Latika Rana : Tiger Princess
Dr. Latikanath Rana was the first women in India, who got the Doctorate Degree for the Tiger Conservation from Oxford University. She is the Bridal of Nepal’s Aristocracy family. In Kashmir, there was a Farm of her Grandfather. This resulted in going there various times. In Kashmir, in Dachigam National Park, she used to roam and look at the lions. That attracted her, towards lion. She studied Environmental Science and also married with that person who was pursuing his career from 20 years in Wildlife Photography.
She shares her one experience by explaining one moment. She tells that once she was with her husband in the jungle for the Conservation. Somebody got the news that Sita named tiger had given birth to a baby tiger. Quickly, they went there, where sita has given birth. Sita came outside from the place where she gave birth with the baby tiger. At that place, they were sitting there for long 11 hours.
At one another moment, they were in jungle. There was night and suddenly we saw one baby tiger, who was injured. As going to that baby child could be dangerous as the Mother of that baby child could attack us. But the baby tiger wanted the first aid. She went there to give first aid, Suddenly she saw the mother of baby tiger and she had to leave the thought of first- aid to tiger and had to quickly go to the jeep. If she didn’t saw the mother, she could be attacked and she could had died.
