Democracy is the essential thing in our India. Vote is the special key given to every people who attains the age 18. Every election remember our country is democratic one. It is the special honour given to each and every people.
In every election, many candidates contested. They belonged to various political parties. Weeks before the election, vigorous propaganda was doing by them. They are arranging many public meetings. They addressed large gathering and asked for the support of the people. They displayed posters in public places and issued leaflets.
Special officials were trained for election work. For election work, election books were put up in a few places in the town. There were separate booths for men and women. The Election Day was declared a holiday.
These all arrangements are made for people. But some lazy people don’t vote. They waste their rights. This is the main cause for duplicate votes done by social culprits.
But many responsible people lined up before the booths from the early hours of the morning. Even though they are old, they don’t tired and vote with enthusiasm.
Police arrangements were made at the polling stations. No meetings or canvassing was allowed on that day.
In previous years, each vote was given a ballot paper. One was to make a mark against the name of candidate of his choice and put the paper into the ballot box.
Now-a-days, voting machine used for vote. People press the button which near the mark of the desired party. This technology is also easy for counting instead of manual counting.
Voting not only our right, it is our duty too. Government has to take strict action against lazy people who does not cast their vote. This will save our democracy.
