Dr. Prof. V. Perumal, a leading Tamil scholar, took his M.A degree from Annamalai University. He was awarded doctoral degree by the world University in U.S.A. A leading educationist and social research scientist, he has numerous learned articles to his credit. He had chaired and attended a large number of lectures in India and SriLanka on various aspects of Tamil literature's and cultures. His book on Tamil culture was awarded the best prize by the government of Tamil nadu. He is the founder Director of Indian academy of international Understanding. He is also a senior fellow with the ministry of Education and culture, Government of India.
