*By conforming to one’s religion and by hearing God’s command in the gentle whisper of our conscience we find happiness on earth and security of our destiny with God in heaven.

 We think by possessing them we shall be happy. But we can never be happy because we want to possess more and more. Only when we lace our trust in God, we can be really happy. For everything comes from him. Everything belongs to hi. He is the owner. He is the master. We are just keepers. When we go from this world, some other keepers take over.

 David was the only child of his parents. Being in a remote village, he was able to attend the primary school in the village. Thereafter he helped his parents. When he grew up, the parents got him married. He and his wife took proper care of the parents. Under their guidance, his wealth began to grow.

 It was around this time misfortune began to strike. He lost his properties one by one. His friends left him. His parents died. He was afflicted by a severe skin disease.

 For some time his wife and children attended on him. Soon they got tired of him and went away. There was no one to take care of him. His wife was not there. His own children were not there. His friends had left him. All his properties were gone.

 Still he did not lose his trust in God. He said everything he had was God’s gift to him. So if God had taken his gift back, it was his right. He had no complaints against his God. He was ready to receive anything that his God gave him. His trust in God was absolute.

 And god rewarded him in plenty. David got back all his lost property. His wife and children came back. His friends returned. His wealth grew manifold.

 Trust in God can take you through good times and bad time. Trust can carry you through sickness and sorrow. It can carry you through trails and tribulations. Trust can carry you through times of fear. Good times, bad times, sickness, sorrow, trials and tribulations-all these lie in the hands of God. In fact nothing happens without his knowledge. That is why we should have trust in God.

 Have trust in God. This will make you free from all worries. This will provide all your needs. Your happiness and success depend on your trust in God. Trust God and do it absolutely.
