Today I am here to share my personal experience. I was on my way tothe grocery shop along with my Mom. I suddenly noticed a very small puppy on the road surrounded by stray dog's on the street and was ready to bite the small puppy which was new to the locality. As soon as we passed on, the puppy came running behind me to escape from the stray dogs. The pup was really cute and also very clean. Felt that some one who is really heart less might have left the puppy on the road.
Myself and my Mom were standing to cross the road as the grocery shop was on the other side of the road. We were about to cross the road , the brilliant pup also came runing behind us and was standing ready to cross the road alogn with us. I carried the puppy thinking to leave it on the other side of the road. As soon as I left down again it started following us.
As a pet lover I did'nt feel like leaving it on road. Felt that the pup might be hungy , So I carried to puppy to my home. My Mom brought the milk in a small bowl for the puppy to drink but the puppy didnt know how to drink the milk as it was too small. Within few minutes it strated crying and later it slept. Time was passing by and we didnt know what to do. We can't keep the puppy at home as we were residing in an appartment. The pets were not allowed in our appartment. I really did'nt want to leave the puppy on the road again. I was afraid that the stray dogs might kill the pup.
My Mom reminded me about the Blue Cross. Immediately I surfed the net and found the phone number of Blue Cross. I spoke to them regarding the same. I asked them to come and take the puppy, But they told me that they will come next day morning to take the puppy as it was already around 7.30 pm. I can't keep the puppy until next day morning as the puppy was crying and our neighbours migh feel disturbed and object to keep the puppy at home. Again i spoke to the Blue Cross and they asked me to come and leave the puppy to them.
My Dad was out of station and I can't go alone. I was seeking for someone to help. My Mom spoke to our neighbour. He came out to help us, thought he don't like pets. He asked me to get ready and he went to the car shed. We both took the Puppy on the car to the Blue Cross.
I was shocked and amazed to see many dogs in Blue Cross they Shelter. Really great service done by Blue Cross. Hats off to them. I handed over the puppy to them. I came back with satisfaction that they will surely take care of the puppy.
If stray dog give birth to puppies , some people tend to leave the puppy on some other street or locality thinking that there might be too many stray dogs in their area or street. Please dont do such act. The puppy should be with its mother atleast for 45 days because the pup will not know how to eat the food on its own. Please don't be heratless. If you don't want stray dogs in your locality kindly contact the Blue Cross.
