If you find that are looking for reasons not to sit down to work, or not wanting to study, you need to organize your study sessions. Try to start sitting down to study for short period regularly, even if it is for 10-14 minutes. This will get you into a routine, and help you concentrate enough to get some work done. Once this becomes a habit, you can extend the time, and make a proper study schedule.
You may have heard the saying: all work and no play make Jack a dull boy! If you are the kind of person who sits down to study for too long, it can become tiring and boring. Even if you enjoy the subject, it might get too tedious and you might start resenting the subject. As a result, you might go to the other extreme, and try to avoid studying.
Of course, this is not true of everyone, but it can happen. Everyone should have a study pattern that suits them, and helps them study effective. However, experts suggest short breaks after about a couple of hours of continuous study. Take a break of 6-12 minutes, and use it to do something different, like going outside to get some air, or doing a couple of eye exercises. After the relaxation, you will return to what you are doing with renewed energy.
When you have time to take longer break after a couple of two hour sessions, try to relax with something you enjoy, or something that is new and refreshing.
Think of create ideas to fill your time, and feel fresh. You might go for a nature walk, paint practice music/read, watch some sports or a good movie, learn something new, visit museum, etc.
This would depend on the amount of time you can spare. You will see that you can go back to studies with renewed energy and interest.
