The next edition of best man made engineering works is Aiola Island Bridge.
This bridge is build on Mur River in Graz, Austria connecting both the shores of the rivers. The island was built in 2003 by a New-York based artist Vito Acconci. The bridge not only allows you to cross the rivers, it also provides a sun bath area, coffee shop and some leisure area to spend your time before you cross the river. This has turned into a major tourist attraction in Austria.
