Life begins only at 60.Until the age of sixty,everyone is loaded with responsibilities-getting through your grade exams,securing admission in a good college,getting placement in a good concern or company,earning money to support or dependant brothers and sisters,planning for their marriage as well as yours and the list goes on.Having so far lived a life for others,it is time for your own life.Only after sixty years of age,the best things in life come one by one.The best things in life are health,happiness and peace.Here are some tips to achieve those best things.
1.Say "NO" to negative thinking
We must give up negative thinking and negative emotions and cultivate the positive ones."Once our minds are ''tattooed'' with negative thinking, our chances for long-term success diminish" is a famous quote by John Maxwell.Face everyday with a broad smile and wipe out the feeling that you are growing old.
2.Say Good Morning to chirping birds
a.Wake up early in the morning.Have a schedule that lists down all tasks for the day.Keep yourself busy.It doesn't mean loading yourselves with tension full jobs.Remember to opt for tasks that will never burden you.
b.Walking is always good for health.Make it a habit to have a morning walk for 45 minutes to 1 hour wearing proper shoes and attire.
c.Spend some time for meditation and exercise.Concentration of mind can be achieved through prayer and meditation.Mental health is as essential as physical fitness.A sound mind in a sound body is a good thing.
3.Stop Worrying

6.Proper sleep pattern

It is good to maintain a file containing your medical case history.It should contain all details including the medicines which you are allergic to.Have the visiting card of your family doctor in the file.All prescriptions should be filed date wise.Have a regular medical check up once in 6 months.It is good to visit a dentist once in 6 months.Maintain a list of phone numbers of hospitals your dear ones should contact in case of emergencies.
8.Plan your Monthly expenses
It is good to invest all your hard earned money in banks which is known for its reputation.It is not advisable to invest money in share marketing after the age of 60 because it is a market which has both profit and loss.At the age of 60,it is not advisable to take risks.It is good you plan your monthly budget and allocate some amount for your monthly medical expenses.
9.Plan your Safety
Ensure that all the doors are locked before you go to sleep.Never have the habit of keeping valuable things in your cupboard.If possible have some burglar alarms installed at your door step.
10.Last but not the least, never lose your smile and self confidence.Laugh and make others laugh.Laughter is a best medicine that can cure all ailments.
