Hi friends in this article let us discuss about the film called "KNOWING", which is a science fiction film that describes how the world is going to come to an end.Even though this is a science fiction film you can expect thriller in each and every scene of the movie.Ive watched this movie on 20th October, yesterday, and in that movie it describes that 19th October is the day that the world will come to an end..Just coincidence.

Nicolas Cage is the hero in this film and he acts as a father who takes care of his son very well.He is also professor in MIT and after his wife death in a fire accident when she was in a hotel on her way to Phoenix, he believed that whatever happens in this are just coincidence because he said he loved her wife so much and he didn't have any feeling or nothing when she died in smoother place far away from him.

About the movie

Hi friends I've just watched the movie yesterday and so I remenber the movie to an extend very well.Fantastic movie indeed but if you are very practical i guess you may not like the film especially at the climax, when the director says that the Earth is destroyed due to heavy radiation from the sun.

Well, the film starts in 1959 at the William Dawes Elementary School in Lexington, Massachusetts and the opening scene was Lucinda watching the sun while others were playing at the school ground.She feels that somebody was whispering in her ears and the teacher Miss Taylor asks everyone to come inside the class.

There inside the class room Miss Taylor announces Lucinda won the competition which was held last month and was conducted by the Principal.The competiton was that how to celebrate the official opening day which commences the next day when Lucinda was announced the winner and everyone in the class room was astonished to hear Lucinda has won because they feels that Lucinda was always sad and doesn't mingle with others

The Lucinda's idea was to bury a "TIME CAPSULE" and that should be opened after 50 years in 2009 and inside the time capsule all must imagine and create pictures of how the future will be.While others were drawing space ships and rockets Lucinda just wrote sequence of numbers in a sheet and when Miss Taylor asks to stop drawing as it was time, Lucinda kept writing numbers and she was about to complete the whole chart .

But when she was about to complete Taylor takes the chart and along with others charts she puts Lucinda's chart also in the Time Capsule and during the function they burried the time capsule and the believe that aftre 50 years the new generation of the school will see this.At that time Lucinda was missing but they could find her at the School gym with her fingers bleeding as she tried to write some numbers on the door.

Then the film comes to 2009 when John was watching the sky in a telescope and ask his son Caleb to have dinner, but Caleb says that he became vegetarian and goes inside the home to watch Discovery programs, which he likes watch every time, and after some times John warns him to turn off the TV as he couldn't concentrate classes next day.

But Caleb says that he doesn't have classes the next day as the school celebrates 50th annivasary and they will take the capsule out to know what their seniors in 1959 have predicted about the future.

The next day as usual John gives a lecture in MIT and he also explains about the power and internal composition of the Sun as he was doing experiment in that topic and he also believes that there will be a powerful radiation which will strike the Earth very soon.

While he finishes his class he runs to the William Dawes Elementary School as his son asked him to come to participate in the function.Then the school management decides to take the time capsule out after 50 years and the special guest is Miss Taylor who was the teacher during the 1959 batch when they buried the Time capsule.

After taking the time capsule each chart was distributed to each students and as a coincidence Caleb receives the chart which was written by Lucinda which contains full of numbers and while he was watching this number he could see a stranger at a distance starring at him and agter few seconds he vanishes.From this time onwards he also begins to hear the whispering sound.

Then John takes Caleb to home and he finds that Caleb took that chart to home and he warned him this belongs to school and he should give back to his teacher the next morning, because all the other students have already returned the charts.

John was very depressed and he used to have drink at night after his son sleeps and as a coincidence he keeps the glass on the chart and after realizing that was Caleb's chart he tries to clean the chart and he finds something interesting.

He finds a sequence 911012996. At first he tried different combination of this number and at last he tried the combination 9/11/01/2996.This means the date 9/11/01 and he knew that was the day when the terrorist attacked the world Trade center and when he surfed net he found that 2996 people were dead.At first he was surprised to see how the number  9/11/01/2996 matches with the incident and also the number of deaths.

So he decided to analyse it deeply and he took a white board and wrote all the numbers in the paper on that board.But he was confident that it was just a coincidence and he later tried with other sequence,and to his suprise all the terror attacks, deaths that was took place for the past 50 years were also listed in that.

But he could find this sequence after a regular gap of few numbers and this happened for every numbers,i.e he finds a sequence and after that there are some  numbers that he couldn't understand why it was mentioned and again another sequence which matches with any disaster and death toll and again some number he couldn't understand and aging the incident numbers ...this was observed in all case.He circled the incident date with red marker and the death toll with blue marker and there are many numbers encircled which he couldn't understand why it was mentioned.

Then he finds another three sequence of numbers were left and the next day he goes to MIT and he discuss this problem with his friend Phil who says this was just a coincidence and asks him not to worry about this.He also tried expalins that the day when his wife died in a fire accident that killed 48 people was also on that list.

Then he decides to meet Miss Taylor who was the class teacher of Lucinda in 1959 and she says that Lucinda was dead many years back.Miss Taylor also remembers that Lucinda was writing the number son the chart on that day and when Taylor took the paper from there, Lucinda was missing form that time and the found her on the School Gym with her fingers bleeding she was writing some numbers on the door.

And later in the house he finds that Caleb who was playing outside was visited by two strangers in a car and they gave him a Black stone,which Caleb felt very cold.He also finds another sequence which says on that particular day 81 people will die.

So he kept on watching news channel thinking that he will get any information about any accidents or terror attack.As he was watching the whole night he was tired and in the evening Caleb calls from ths school and asks him to pick form the school.

While John was travelling on  highway to school he finds a truck met with an accident in the road and so he tried for any alternate route using the GPS system in the car.At that time he saw in the GPS that his present latitude location was 42.41 and Longitude Location was 71.20.

Now he checks the list and in that list this was mentioned and he knew that the accident is gong to happen in that place and he also realises that all the uncircled numbers which followed every sequence was nothing but the exact location of the place where the incident is going to take place.The when he gets out of the car he finds a flight looses its control and crashed and later he reaches home and finds that 81 people were killed.

During that night Caleb had a dream that every place in this earth was burning and so the next day John tries to contact Diana, who was the daughter of Lucinda but she refused to help John.After knowing that the encircled numbers were the location he correctly predicted the next disaster which will take place at the Manhattan subway train derailment and he also tries to prevent it but he couldn't and 174 people lost their life as mentioned in that list.

After this incident Diana comes and agrees to help John.Then she also said that her mother said that Diana will die on October 19th 2009 and John also finds in that list the last incident will happen on 19th october and he finds 'EE" in reverse orders and he believed that as 33 and said 33 people will die.But he couldn't find the location where it was going to happen as it was left unfinished in that list.

Then Diana takes John to her mother house and in that house underneath the bed John finds it was written "Everyone Else" which means it was not 33 but it symbolizes all the people are going to die and at the same time the strangers come and ask Caleb and Linda's daughter to come with them but they were saved by John who came to that spot at that time.

Then the next day John goes to the MIT and finds that by his research that the sun will emit the radiation on October 19th and when the Government announced this emergency situation all the people tried to hide underground, but John felt that will not save those people as the radiation will penetrate 1 mile deep into the core of the earth.

Then to finds the location of this incident he goes to Lucnda's school and brings that particluar door where Lucinda has mentioned the final co ordinate and that co ordinate was none other that Lucinda's home.By this time Diana met with an accident and her daughter and Caleb was taken by the strangers.

John reaches Lucinda's house and he sees that the strangers were ready to take Calen and Diana's daughter to their planet and seeing this John return to his father's house and when he was with his father, mother and his sister..a sudden explosion occurs due to sun's radiation and as a result this brings the end of the Earth.

At last Caleb and Diana's daughter were in a new planet.

Hi friends in this article let us discuss about one of the Kamalhassan best action movie, "Kuruthipunal".This is an action packed movie and the standar of the movie is very high,It has no songs and the full movie is action packed with both the heroes KamalHassan and Arjun doing a splendid job.

Apart from this Nassar also domne a god job and his role in this film is the role of a terrorist.Kamal took lot of risk in this film and to be specific about one scene he crosses the railway track when the rail approaches very close and it was really dangerous,i guess those would have watched the film could have easily realized.

About the film

Adhi Narayanan (Kamal Hassan) and Abbas (Arjun) are two sincere polic officers.To catch the terrorist Abbas uses two ofificers called as Anand and Shiva, who were vigilance officers,and he name the opertation as"Operation Dhanush".

This operation's aim is to catch the terror group leader Badri(Nassar) and they will do so by just get mingling in that group to mingle with a terror group headed by Badri (Nasser) and as a part of this operation those two will send will update the movements of the group by sending the information to Abbas.

During one night Adhi arrest a terrorist, i.e Badri but he doesn't knew that he was the head of the terror group he was searching for and he starts the investigation and asks lots of questions to Badri and a psychological battles goes between them.

But Badri was cool and from inside the jai he was able to threatens Adhi's family as he had lot of friends in that Police Headquarters itself.Badri however escapes and joins his group and there he finds one of the member was a vigilance office and before getting any information that officer commits suicide.

While film moves on like this Abbas was kidnapped by Badri and was tortured to say the other officers named and eventually Abbas was killed by Badri.

Adhi also get caught and he was also tortured and during that time he manage to kill Badri and he asks the the officer he sent to mingle in the group to kill him and make others in that group believe that he was also a member and also asks him to keep on update the information about the terror group till they could find the main person.

The film ends when medal was distributed to the wife of Abbas and Adhi and during that time the son of Badri comes and he teases Adhi's son and as a reply Aadhi's chases him by saying that he would kill him.....That's how the story ends... sorry it is starting again....

We go to a theatre to watch movies.  In today's world the primary reason to go out to a theatre during the weekend to watch a movie is to relieve our boredom or  to get rid of the stress accumulated at our homes and workplaces during the week. Once we enter the theatre, this is what a routine movie offers.

Mindless Violence and Torture.:- The viewer has to go to through frames of mindless violence wherein the characters are on a killing spree chopping of heads or blasting bombs which usually happens all over the world. If that is not enough, there is lot of weeping and crying. That is enough to create headaches for anybody.  Many people tolerate the torture, considering they have paid lot of money for the tickets, conveyance to get there and also money for snacks.  People who cannot bear it any further take a brave decision and come out foregoing the money spent.

Politics:- One favorite topic for filmmakers is politics.  When we see enough of politics in front of our eyes through television channels, Internet and newspapers, what is the necessity to extend it further through a theatre.  One of the reason why we get into a theatre to watch a movie is to get rid of these routine politics.  Yet me make a fools of ourselves by paying to watch politics when we were watching in our homes for free.

Tragic End:- If there is a decent story, say for example a love story to give the viewers some respite  from mindless violence, then there is a tragic end to the movie in the form of death of lovers on account of factional feuds. One thing film makers should understand that when there are enough tragedies all over the world  in today's world to which a person is witness to, then why to extend that further through a movie.

Art Films:- Usually a common man lacks the intelligence to understand such movies.  These movies are branded to be realistic but when it comes to entertainment value, it is zero

Suggestions for entertaining movies.

The basic idea to keep a viewer interested is to offer entertainment.  Comedy movies are very welcome in this regard .  Suspense thrillers too keep the viewers engrossed.  Infact Comedies and suspense thrillers not only keep the viewers engaged for 3 hours, it also makes the viewer to relive those moments with his family, friends and colleagues.  A movie need not necessary be realistic, even unrealistic ones will do provided it gives 3 hours of entertainment which is what the paying people want.

About the movie

The film starts in a bus stand of a small town when Rani, who is Arokyaraj's daughter calling her dad form a PCO where she was called by somebody.After that Arokyaraj was restless as his daughter didn't return home. So Kamal comes to the investigation and he however managed to find the dead body of Rani

Hearing this news Arokyaraj couldn't believe it and after the funeral he says to Raaghavan that two of Rani's college misbehaved with her 2 months back and when Kamal investigated this a local inspector said that they were just students an they had no connection with the murder.

Then Arokyaraj and his wife leaves for USA as they couldn't stay in India as their daughter's taught disturbs them.After some months Raghavan gets a call and he was shocked to hear that Arokyaraj's family was murdered in USA and he goes to USA to attend the funeral and also for the investigation.

When he travels he thinks of her wife who was murdered by some of the local rowdies and how he killed them.This really disturbs him, when he thinks of his wife's(His wife was Kamalini Mukerjee) death.

Then he reaches USA and he stays there in a hotel where he sees Arathana who tries to kill herself because of her unsuccessful marriage life and she was saved by Raghavan.

After that Kamal asks the reason and the next day Kamal goes to NYPD and meets Anderson for the investigation process.

There he finishes the funeral of the Arokyaraj's family and also visited the crime scene, as he goes to Arokyaraj's house there and he starts the investigation

During the investigation Raghavan finds that another Indian girl was murdered and her finger was hanged in the car's real view mirror and he finds that there is a connection between this murder and that of Rani's murder because earlier he sound similarly a finger (Rani's finger) in Arokyaraj's car real view mirror.

So tracing this death of the Indian girl he founds 5 other dead bodies in an abandoned place and he founds this with the help of instinct called as "Raghavan's instinct".He also finds this also has a connection and he along with Anderson goes to the FBI headquarters where he said that he could trace the killer by corelating the the flights passengers manifesto.

He and Anderson worked out this problem and they could shortlist the number of names and finally they investigates all the names in that list and at last he tracks down two Indian medical students studying in New York and when they entered their house they could find evidence and they confirmed that they were the killers.

While they were searching for evidence the two murderers comes in and they kill Anderson and Raghavan was badly injured.By this time the two murderers escaped to India and Kamal who is having treatment also goes to USA with Aaradhana and when he was travelling with her he proposes to her and says that he can take care of her and also her daughter Maya.

In India, the culprits chase Raghavan and they continue to commit a series of murders, that includes Raghavan's driver and security guards. At the same time, Aradhana who rejected Raghavan's proposal earlier accepts now and after this she was kidnapped by the Killers and they attempt to blackmail Raghavan.

At this time Raghavan managed to arrest one of the killer and he askd another killer to release Aradhand , bu the other killer buries her alive and knowing this Raghavan kills both the killer and managed to save Aradhana.

At the end,Raghavan and Aradhana get married,and this means that Raghavan is the stepfather of 17-month-old Maya(who was Aradhanas daughter to her first husband).
