1)SCHINDLERS LIST:
Directed by Steven Speilbeg ,based on a true story,released in 1993,this film won 7 oscar awards,including best picture and best director.It is about a German Bussiness Man OSKAR SCHINDLER who saved 1000 's of Polish people during the holocoust in 1939 when German invaded Poland,by employing the polish people in his factory.Really the most important part of th film is that,when Oskar Schindler cries during the climax and feels that he could have saved more people by seeling his property.Surely tears will drop from our eyes during this scene.Now more than 3000 people of those polish descent are living at present ,due to Oskar Schindler.Guys please dont this film.though its lengthy its worth watching.The image below is the part of the list that Oskar Schindler prepared.
2)SHAWSANK REDEMPTION:
Directed by Frank Darabont,and release in 1994,this movies tops in many of the best movies list.Though this movie didn't win any oscar inspite of 7 nominations,i feel its worth watching a fantastic movie like this.Two important characters Tim Robbins and Morgan freeman did a splendid job and the stoy revolves around breaking out of the prison The Shawsank.
3)REMEMBER THE TITANS:
Released in 2000,this film is based on a true story.Denzel Washington's performance in this movie is appreciated by all sorts of people .This is based upon how racism involved in american football(TC Williams High School Football club).Denzel is appointed ans the coach an the story revolves around how he makes the team united and how the peam performs well without racist problem.
Similar kind of movies based on sports which you must see are, WE ARE MARSHALL,GRIDIRON GANG, COACH CARTER and RUDY.

Starring Kamal and Shivaji,it was released in 1992 and it won 5 National Awards
3)THALAPATHI:
Directed by Maniratnam , starring Rajini and Mammoty,this was a huge success and the song 'RAKKAMA KAIYA THATTU" was selected as one of the top 10 songs by BBC
4)ANBE SIVAM:
Friends please dont miss this movie.after watching this u will understand the value of life and love all human beings
5)NAMMAVAR:
Friends this is a pleasant movie and u have to watch for the great acting performance by Kamalhassan and Nagesh in particular.Infact Nagesh won the National award for the best supporing actress.There is a scene in this filn which was taken in one shot ,where nagesh comes to his house after hearing his daughter death.Really everyone will cry watching this scene.hats off to Nagesh.

I saw this film just to know, why the jury gave national award for prakash raj for his outstanding act in this film . Though i dont know malayalam, I understood the film by reading the english subtitles during the film.
story:---
This is the story happened in 1940's . In this movie praksh raj is a silk weaver and everyone in that village can't afford to buy a silk saree though they work for their life time.Prakash raj wants her wife to come to their village with a silk saree so he saves money from his childhood so that he can be the only person in the village who own's a silk saree. But, he cannot afford a silk saree at the time of his marriage.The money he saved was only half to buy a silk saree.So, he will give a promise to his daughter in the ear during her birth that he will buy a silk saree to her at the time of her wedding.
But, he gives that money to his sister to send her along with her husband.So,prakash raj starts to rob the silk threads from the silk factory where he is working,to fulfil his promise to his daughter .Prakash raj,also acted as Communist leader in this film.On one day Prakash raj gets caught while robbing the silk .he will be jailed for that and at last his daughter will die due to paralysis.This is the story of kanchivaram in a very short manner.
Performance:--
The acting of prakash raj was excellent.He acted very well as a communist leader and as a father.I think he was eligible to take national award for this film.His action during the climax was excellent.The other coactor named parthasarathy also acted well.This film has showed the life style of the silk weavers.
Technical Aspects:---
The direction was excellent.The taking of the film was good.The cinematography and the settings were very very natural.I will give a rating of 4 out of 5 for this film.overall this film was nice and should be watched to know the life style of the silk weavers in 1940's.i enjoyed watching this film..
Yesterday, I had seen the movie Eenadu and it was a good thriller .Till the end of the Movie kamal hasan maintained the negative role in a perfect way.The phone conversation between venkatesh and Kamalhasan throughout the film was excellent
Story:--
Kamalhasan was a common man and he calls to commissioners office and tells the commissioner (venkatesh) that he kept bombs at 5 different places througnout the City.venkatesh Wont believe the call .kamal tells that he also kept a bomb in the police station near the commissioners office
A team searches that police station and founds RDX . Venkatesh asks Kamal , what does He want to tell the locations of all the bombs.kamal asks for the four terrorists and lot of Conversation continues between them in different time intervals.
At last, Venkatesh sends the four terrorists to the begumpet airport as instructed by kamal hasan. Then ,kamal asks the police to leave them in the jeep which was arranged by the kamal already at the airport.But,police leaves only three terrorists in that jeep.The phone rings in that jeep, as soon as the terrorists lefts the call the jeep blasts into pieces . kamal then tells also to kill the left terrorist .The Police also does the same.After that though venkatesh came to know from where kamal was talking in phone, he wont arrests him.
Performance :--
Kamal’s performance in this film was extraordinary.venkatesh performance was also head to head.I was thrilled watching the film.The news reporter in this film played an average role.It could be a better role but, not acted to my expectations.But ,the action of venkatesh and kamal coverd it.
Technical details :---
The director chakri made a good job . but ,I did not like the music. Music done by shruthi hassan was average.The photography was good.I will give a rating of 3.5 out of 5 for this movie.
Yesterday,I had seen the movie shankam.Actually, I thought it would be a great hit for gopi chand but,it was not upto my expectations.The movie has more commercial aspects in it.The first half of the film was shooted in Australia.The locations were good. I felt boring during the gopichand and the ali comedy episodes.
The songs were good and Trisha character and action was good.The action episodes of the film were excellent.but, 25% part of the film was boring.I thought i can give a rating of 3 out of 5 to this film.
The screenplay of the film was good and the locations were very natural in the songs.Though,some part of the film was boring every one can enjoy the film .The episodes between trisha and gopi chand were romantic and I can say that it was a action movie in which a love story was embedded.
The music director of this film composed melodious songs and the coreography was also good.I think the director kept his fiull efforts to bring this film.I will post My next film review as soon as I see next film
