Indian classical music...................

No comments on “Indian classical music...................”

The origins of Indian classical music can be found from the oldest of scriptures, part of the Hindu tradition, the Vedas. It is also significantly influenced by Persian music.
The Samaveda, one of the four Vedas, describes music at length. The Samaveda was created out of Rigveda so that its hymns could be sung as Samagana; this style evolved into jatis and eventually into ragas. Indian classical music has its origins as a meditation tool for attaining self realization. All different forms of these melodies (ragas) are believed to affect various "chakras" (energy centers, or "moods") in the path of the Kundalini. However, there is little mention of these esoteric beliefs in Bharat's Natyashastra, the first treatise laying down the fundamental principles of drama, dance and music.
Indian classical music has one of the most complex and complete musical systems ever developed. Like Western classical music.
it divides the octave into 12 semitones of which the 7 basic notes are
(Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa,)
in order, replacing Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do. However, it uses the just intonation tuning (unlike most modern Western classical music which uses the equal temperament tuning system).
Indian classical music is monophonic in nature and based around a single melody line which is played over a fixed drone. The performance is based melodically on particular ragas and rhythmically on talas.

Michael Joseph Jackson - "KING OF POP"

Michael Jackson was born in Indiana - August 29th,1958 in Indiana. At the age of 8 he was a member in the band formed by his siblings , "The Jackson 5" comprising of 5 members. Among them Michael was the vocalist. Being a worker in steel factory, Joseph Jackson was greatly helped by his children. Michael had his childhood completely in lime light. His talent was exposed in his pre-matured age itself. So Jackson made his debut in pop in a grand way. As he went on, he began singing singles. His first album being HIStory. The Track "Billie Jean" topped the US list for almost 10 weeks. Largest heard songs of all time. Jackson became famous for his type of voice called 'Falsetto". Though the first timers might feel they are hearing to a song sung by a lady, it was MJ who was blessed with an unique voice. When he was 25, he had the greatest break through in his life. The album "Thriller" was released. It was Super Duper Hit world wide. All the singles were mostly appreciated by critics. Jackson had a time of his life. When Jackson passed away on July 25th in Neverland Ranch - he was 50. The sudden demise was due to a heart attack, initially reported. Then he  was allegedly murdered and was declared as a Homicide. The First phase of Jacko's life was - The best way one can ever live. Second phase was much disastrous though. Lots of controversies surrounding Jackson's appearance , voice , drug abuse and child abduction. Still he was relieved out of a few cases, it still remained to be a black mark. The voice of Jacko Wacko still rings in the hearts and minds of his beloved fans. He was controversial but completely down-to-earth. One personally feels that Jackson was never a guy with such an instinct. Though Jackson left for heavenly abode.. he still lives in the hearts of his fans and rules the world as the "KING OF POP"!! Adieu

A wreath on my dreams

My dreams are dead like a silent street

Silence of dream;daunting my heart

On those days i thought my dreams

.Will bloom like a bouquet of flowers.

But now i am rowing in the vast ocean

of my lifeless,worthless dead dreams.

Now i realize what dreams are;it is

that which makes man to stand at the

                                                                 -verge of death

Dreams are like a flower as it blooms like

a bird kid and show their heavinly pride but

they didnt think that they have to die,Someday

Likewise dreams are like a worthless bunch

of waste having ,no mercy on human.

Nones dream come to an end pridely as they

Are like human wish, human wish hopes

for a rain to its dry heart, but when the

rain falls down it never stops

Now if anyone asks me "what is your great dream?"

I will answer "it is that i wouldnt like to have

                                                                           -any dream"!

My answer may hurt the narrators soul

but my soul know what will be end of

                                                                 -a dream.

And i also know that my dream that is the condition of

Not having any dream is also a dream that will not get

                                                                                -fullfilled

In the past,present or future.

As i am a human,a son of almighty should have to bear

The fate drown in the POISONOUS  lake of dreams.

MY SCHOOL

Under her wings, for

 fourteen years

I felt an inexplicable comfort.

She moulded me into what i am today !

The thought of departing

arouses in me a quaint feeling ,

which makes me appear out of place

The thought of all days with her,

turning into nothing but

precious reminiscences

cast a deep,sad shadow

on the walls of my heart,

The faces of loved ones fading away, blurring my vision,

breaking the tenderness of tears.

As she prepares me

to fly into a new phase of life,

I find strenght in my wings,

and everything she has imparted,

echoes within me

And at last,I fly away from her

as fate approves no alternation.

life

life is a thick book

whose cover is made bright and colourful.

and few pages too

but as you go deeper the more you read it.

The more complicated it becomes,

still you want to read more, having started it,

You need patience and determination

Those who dont have it ,end up

closing the book before the end.

They fail to see the colourful pages between,

which havebeen inserted

Just  to make you feel better and long for a rainbow of happiness,

which is hard to get.

As the dull pages outnumber the bright pages,

Having read so many dull pages.

By the time you head towards the end,

You have forgotten the look of happiness,

And you end up becoming precautions.

And as far as possible stay away from the end,

You shouldnt be like this,as by making people

who are reading the book, realize the end.

you take away half their happiness

because they want to read it themselves as you have done.

They dont be told about

The happiness and the dull end

Let them struggle I  know

The realities their life themselves.
