These days real money has lost its importance. Don't get me wrong, money still makes the world go around, only it has changed its form. From paper money and coins the plastic cards in your wallet have become far more popular. It is far more convenient to whip out a credit card and pay for purchases than it is to carry wads of money around with you. There is no need to count out exact change from your coin purse any more. A credit card is a great help for the frequent shopper.
So how does one get a credit card?
You apply with any of the major credit card companies. This will require you to fill in an application form. Make sure you fill in all the information needed as an incomplete form may result in your application being rejected. Also you will need to add photocopies of relevant documents for identity proof, address proof, and employment proof. Some companies even need the last three months salary slips.
After your form is completed and all the necessary documents are attached to it, submit it to the agent from the credit card company. Now the form will be processed and your eligibility for credit will be assessed by the company. If all things are found to be in order, a phone call verification will be made. Once that is done, the credit card will be couriered to you at your given address.
Now you are ready to flash your latest accessory. The plastic card in your wallet. Just make sure that you don’t get carried away with the swiping. Also make sure that you pay your bills on time, if you don’t want to be labeled a credit risk. That may result in your credit card being taken away from you, and we don’t want that to happen do we?
