Important places to visit in red fort:
Diwan-i-Aam : This is the place from where the emperor used to adress commom people.
Diwan-i-Khas : This is the place where emperor used to give private audience to the courtiers and state guests.Over the marble pedestal in its center stood the famous Peacock Throne which was removed in 1739 by Nadir Shah of Persia and later in the year 1760 the Marathas removed and looted the Silver ceiling of the Diwan-i-Khas.
Nahr-i-Behisht : Stream of paradise.This was the water arrangement/continuous flow of water channel to the private apartments that lie in the fort.This channel was connected from yamuna river for continuous supply.
Zenana : Women's quarter( Mumtaz mahal) which is now a museum.
Moti Masjid : To the west of the hammam is the Moti Masjid, the Pearl Mosque. This was a later addition, built in 1659 as a private mosque for Aurangzeb, Shah Jahan's successor. It is a small, three-domed mosque carved in white marble, with a three-arched screen which steps down to the courtyard.
Hayat Bakhsh Bagh : To its north lies a large formal garden, the Hayat Bakhsh Bagh.which is cut through by two bisecting channels of water.
