Would you be comfortable writing in any other language?  Do you think that you would be able to express yourself better in another language?

Personally I am more comfortable writing in English. I love the language and use every opportunity to better my writing skills.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

A choice of language for a writer ( as the basic discussion of the post is that) is one in which he/she is able to express the passions of her/his soul. Comfort of expression  becomes the main reason for choice of a particular language over the other.

Soperfectly expressed Sofs, I agree, it is the language in which we are the most comfortable that we choose to write and express our thoughts and feelings.

Exactly. Expressing one's view needs command over that particular language. Else the very purpose of communication will be defeated.
