Sasikala as CM of Tamilnadu - can political parties question ??

Almost all political parties question the AIADMK for their decision to make Sasikala the party chief and now possibly the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. Congress has been very critical while they themselves brought in Sonia Gandhi as party chief simply because she was related to the Nehru family and were ready to hand over the entire nation to her as well and now want a totally incapable Rahul Gandhi to lead them .. Sasikala according to reports has been managing the political show from the shadows while Jayalalitha was the CM as well as when she was in prison which means she has experience unlike many of our politicians. Akilesh Yadav was totally raw when he was made the CM because he was Mulayam s son..

Exactly. She underestimated the Courts. She was in a complacent mood. But no one can escape from the long hands of Law. As a result, she is counting bars in the prison.

I am watching the news right now, and it seems like the problem is now resolved as Sasikala would be definitely resting for a few years now in the jail. So I think now Paneerselvam is free to act in the capacity of the CM!

But it looks as if she will play all her cards before surrendering, now planning to appoint a successor , so that she can call the shots from the prison..We will have to see how far she is going to carry through with this game plan ? The really unfortunate thing is the entire police force waiting to be beckoned by her into the resort to arrest her rather than carry out the supreme Court verdict ..Such is the power of Mannargudi mafia ..

It is true that she may still have some more cards to play and she won't go easily. But will she be able to work it now that Jayalaltha is no longer there for her, after it was due to Amma that Sasikala has grown in power and wealth both! Really hard to say for now.

Lets hope when Panneerselvam becomes CM again, he takes his responsibility of being a CM seriously and not hand over his resignation under the pressure of another power hungry personality!! People in higher authority needs to be mentally strong.

But its good news that Sasikala ll be behind bars as of now.

Very true Jabeen. But in the recent weeks after taking over since Jaya's death, he has kind of emerged as a man of strength, be it the issue of jallikattu or the Chennai coast oil spill, he stood firmly over his decisions. What needs to be seen now is whether he remains firm and grows even more stronger to prove his mettle. Until now, he remained as a mere shadow and hope this chance that has has now got, steers him in the right direction.

Pannerselvan is the best choice as of now and majority of the tamilans are with him. However, Sasikala is no ordinary person and she will utilise every legal option that is open to her, already wants 4 weeks times before surrender and hoping to upset quite a few things and manipulate the political situation to her advantage if she is given time by the court ..The MLAs supporting her have been promised the moon so they will stick by her thereby making things very difficult for OPS to form the govt

Really shocking Jaya Lalithaa was brought dead to Apollo ? I suspect Sasikala's hand.

It may be possible. Earlier Shshikala blamed for giving slow poison to Jaya.

Though Court gave Sasikala,4 weeks tine, , she yet to be arrested. Now there are some options, including president' rule, I m of the opinion that Panner Selvam should be allowed to form the Government. Still there is a state of uncertainty is prevailing in TM

It is court decision but I think she must be arrested just after judgment. Now it is depends of MLA of TN. If they are wise than they must be support to Panner Selvam.

After judgement, yes Sasikala must be arrested. But it seems it takes time.

When did they give her four weeks ? not to my knowledge...The supreme court has said that she should be arrested immediately but Sasikalas lawyer has said that they have not got the court order yet and ant more time ..

Yes I read that court refuse for bails.

Jaya is convicted,  they adore her, Sasikala is also convicted, they condemn her. What disjointed set of AIADMK  MLA,s

Latest news says, Sasikala  to surrender in Bengaluru.

Not surprising! Considering the magnitude of property and wealth Jaya had amassed, not to mention the innumerable affairs of the state and business she held, it would have caused a very difficult and riotous situation had her death been declared immediately to the public! We saw the situation getting out of hand when she was declared to be very sick and in dangerous condition. So it is obvious that they had to engineer the scenario of her becoming sick and then not responding to treatment etc.

Blow after blow to Sasikala. FIR against Sasikala for kidnaping MLAs. Governor's decision may come by evening.

After Jayalalitha's demise one of our forum members hailed her leadership, charity work and for being Amma and now we get to know that Supreme Court has ordered for confiscation of her property and bank accounts. Ordinary people are so simple that they are happy for having 1 rupee canteen but fail to understand all the mismanagement. Where people are so obsessed there the disclosure of death had to be handled tactfully. When will people of India awake?
