When Rohit Vermula committed suicide and there was a minor incident in JNU everyone including Rahul Gandhi jumped in and there was a national outcry with Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi visiting Hyderabad and politicising the issue. But now what has happened in Uttarakhand is far worse where several Dalits were attacked by a mob including a BJP MP. But neither the Congress party crusaders nor the Rationalists are anywhere to be seen or heard ...Just goes to show the double standards of these anti nationals who jump into the bandwagon only when they are commanded by a party !

Indian so called secular parties are in reality communal in the extreme. The foremost is the Congress, JDU and Left front. It is no surprise that this group and their coterie of intellectuals are silent.

Why congress and other speaks on this issue. MP is not Dalit. Weather Rahul Gandhi or Kejriwal they speak only on the matter which is against BJP and Modi.

If we did not have the ever vigilant media to give us all the details, I guess we would be in the dark like it was before. God knows  what kind of atrocities were committed then without anyone coming to know of it...

Yes are right,  the persons who crying dalit, dalit indeed these are hungry of power. No one asking to Rahul and Mayawati, what they did for dalit when they were in power. Mayawati deposite million trillion on name of dalit and congress are getting votes for more than 65 years. For Mayawati and congress dalit which are their supporters are dalit and others are saffron brigade.

Unless any political party derives to draw any benefits from incidents of atrocities on dalits, only then those incidents get noticed in the media, for whatever one may say, media is controled by politicians who care only for their votes while media cares only about its TRPs of total no. of circulation. So it is no wonder that this one got no notice.

Who says the intellectuals are silent, aren't we discussing? Also Award wapsi persons having returned their Award have no more to return, so they are quiet. Also BJP MP goes with Dalits in Congress ruled state but not in Maharashtra a BJP ruled state where temple entry is being attempted. Let us be practical.

as we all know that the politicians are the most intelligent person because they what they should do at the crucial moment and i think they are silent just because they know that this effect their fame

Kalyani this incident was actually highlighted by the TV channel but the state government did not take any action until the media highlighted it. the reason why the BJP leader and the Dalits were beaten and attacked by a mob was because they dared to enter a temple and its inner sanctuary.

If this incidence is because of enter in temple than it is serious matter. Entry in temples is hottest issue in these days. It is government duty to assured that every citizen enjoyed right of equality.

The fact is a mob attacked and started pelting stones on the BJP M.P, Tarun Vijay along with a Dalit leader, while the MP was on a campaign to allow Dalits in to the temples in Jaunsar - Bawar region. I'm sure the Mob certainly are the hired goons of Congress.

Even most of medias do not show these news. THis is what is the state of fourth estate as well as opposition parties who are shouting this in Vemula case now are silent. Suprising and why such single minded calculative politics of theirs only they can answer about this.

In fact the news paper report came several days after the incident took place because initially the police refused to file an FIR and after Times Now and NewsX highlighted the incident the Police took action and the news media too reported after that.

Sadly, this kind of disgusting behavior on part of police is seen everywhere, notwithstanding which party is in power in whichever state. Rape cases, atrocities on dalits, etc. are most often refused to be registered by the police, time and again, we keep reading the same thing again and again. and the media too is focused on some other juicy gossip and take notice only when some one else first brings it to attention.

To be fair to them once the media catches hold of a story it goes all out as we have seen in many cases, in fact Nirbhaya case was highlighted by the media and only after that rape became a major issue , before which ladies were scared to report rape.

Today the media is reporting a different version altogether!!!

What is that different version ? Will you please give a link. so that members can discuss.

Interviews with head priest and others on a channel where they are refuting what BJP MP says. They say there has never been a baron entry of Dalits into the temple ever.

I am sure many would want to question the valiidity of the report since there is a BJP MP involved and the state is ruled by Congress party...If the same thing had happened in a BJP ruled state, probably the intellectual brigade would have become active on the twitter or rummaging their cupboards for their old awards , just in case ..

Two news reports - one on the incident and another video on the temple cleansing by the authorities because Dalits entered the temple with the BJP MP..

Some members do not hesitate to bluff to prove their Bhakti to the communal Congress. They do not know that by this they are making fools of themselves.
