Now, let me tell me similarities/contradictions of both our names....

Usha means....early morning....
Sandhya means....sunset...
Though both are at its extremes many songs are there in Malayalam with the word, "UshaSandhya".

Sandhya is the most common word of Malayalam film songs...If I try I can find more than 1000 Sandhya songs, ha ha...i.e. In almost every song, Sandhya comes somewhere.

My mother apparently used to be a great fan of the old film actress Usha Kiran who acted in many old hindi films, so I was named Usha Kiran in her honor ! I made it a point to see her films later including Bawarchi where she had a small role..

What about Music director Usha Khanna who gave music to Southen, Chandrakantha TV serial and a few Malayalam films. I think, she is the only lady music composer

Of course Usha Khanna has part of my name lol, she started giving music since the age of 18 for the film Dil Dekhe Dekho , with Shammi Kapoor and Asha Parekh in the lead ..it was a huge success and after that she composed music for many films...also sang a few songs !
