We have some dreaded terrorists languishing in the prison - Abu Salem . Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab and of course many others not so (in)famous.
Our government is of course not sure how to punish them and in the bargain spending several crores of rupees just taking care and maintaining them .
There are many people who feel that they should not be given a death sentence since they are just puppets in the hand of those who are calling the shots from across the border.But , at the same time , the deaths were caused by them and they are adults who are able to think for themselves, so why should they not be held responsible for their heinous crimes...
Should they be given death sentence or Life sentence ?

Terrorists are such cockroaches in any country, which they should not leave. Death sentence should be given if they are caught.
LOL, cockroaches,rats whatever , they are despicable since they are so selfish and self centred and of course cruel .I dont think that they deserve any kind of mercy at all...
There is no need to show any mercy while life sentence and death sentence is sentenced to the terrorist as they always want to kill the people who are so innocent. but our Indian police are still kept that kasab in the jail and making him live happily by giving full filling all his desires

Hmmmm..Maybe questioning him can throw some light on it all, but I seriously doubt if Kasab will open his mouth now, but only behave as he did before, trying a new drama daily!! :angry:

But mercy petition is a legal remedy available to every death convict. The petition cannot be denied. We can only expect that the petition is decided early.

This rule should be scrapped in cases of terrorists. US destroyed whole nations who were responsible of one single attack and we are not able to punish one single criminal who has already been proved guilty beyond all doubts. But this is not possible here because we are more worried about vote bank.
