With new RBI guidelines coming into force this month, the validity for cheques and drafts would be three months from the date of issue.

This is welcome. Longer period often involves too many endorsements and also the cheques get spoiled by moving in so many hands.
The RBI has reacted to the misuse of longer validity by some dubious people!
NIce decission taken by RBI so there is no misuse of checks now. :)
Previously it was six months and now three months. Nice decision taken by RBI.
Can this affect this site.. I mean if someone get cheque that late , then what?! I don't know much because I haven't got any payment so far.
This may create problem for the people who get them late even in this age of fast communication and delivery system. They will have to get them re-dated again.
Any one here who has to waited for that long for receiving cheque from here..?
Decision is correct.Misuse will be not there.
But,what if the cheque,is not reached to that person in three months.
Any one here who has to waited for that long for receiving cheque from here..?

We live in Small town,so that's why sometimes, the cheque is delayed for 1 or 1 and half a month.
This happens only sometimes..
I am waiting for my cheque since 1 month.
That's nice decision but then people need to be careful for the cheques.Hope we don't get ourselves effected from this in boddunan. :)

One and half month is okay.. Can't we have option like bank transfer here...
the decision made by rbi is good. but what if we get our cheques late.here it should be a mode of payment throgh bank transfer directly.

Yes bank transfer option will be good.. No need to wait for the cheques..

Admin can give all payout once or twice in a month on particular day.
but is that possible?now question is that will admin do so?will it be good for boddunan?

but one thing is sure it will increase the partcipation of people more here.
I agree bank transfer is a good option as online pay. That could be verified if the person is genuine or not. There are several ways like a scanned copy of PAN card.
Yes bank transfer will be the best option.. And fast too. No need of mailing cheque and all that. Admin should consider it.
This is a good decision by RBI. I also awaiting for my Cheque from 15 days.

I agree with, Money transfer is also good option.
It has been discussed already and found to be not a viable option for boddunan as the average payout doesn't justify its cost for it!
but what if we dont receive our cheques within 3 mnths thn?
