my blog address is giramakshay.blogspot.com and i want to monetize this blog with AdSense.
But google rejects my application stating that my blog address is not of top level domain. I've seen many google ads on other blogger blogs, But why they aren't accepting my request...??? :unsure:

arun u explained nicely but i have yet another questions to trouble u
1.is it necessary to apply from a top level domain to google adsense?i mean if i have original contents in my website of type mywebsite.blogspot.com will it be approved?
2.how does adsense pay?is it necessary to have a paypal a/c?

Thanks for the compliments Rajesh. Here are the answers you are looking for:
1.Well, applying from top level domain with your own hosting certainly helps as google thinks that as your investing money into website making you are serious about it. Though you can also apply from free sites like blogger,google sites and hubpages. One thing to note is that google would expect their asian participants to wait for 6 months before getting approved. So be patient.
2.I get cheque from adsense. My cheque normally arrives within 10 days from the date of issue. You don't need paypal at all.
