Cheerleaders are distracting batsmen, says Afridi
Hyderabad, April 23 (IANS) Cheerleaders during Indian Premier League (IPL) matches may have added glitz and glamour to the cricket but Pakistan's Shahid Afridi is not amused.

The explosive hitter wants IPL organisers to remove the cheerleaders. 'The girls in skimpy dresses should be removed from the ground as this is distracting the batsman,' he told newsmen on Wednesday

Cheerleaders are new phenomena in India so people are excited to see them. Let it be there for some time and dust will settle down. Basic purpose of cheerleaders are to cheer up players and entertain people.

These cheerleaders have made cricket barely recognizable!!!

I sometimes feel the cheerleaders are far better than the "Vuvuzelas" played during the foot ball matches. :(

My observation, In most of the times saw only white cheerleaders. I really think there are any Indian girls in cheer leading gang. Why no Indian faces?
