There should be award for longest stay at bodduan daily

That's a good idea. But how to measure that? Not using login and logout time. May be the no of points gained by that person on a single day can be used as a measure.

Longest stay may mean idle time as well. Quite possible someone logs in and does not log out quickly but remains idle. So, idle time should be deducted. Then the longest stay may be rewarded.

I stay online up-to 18-19 hr per day so this award will go to me everyday.

It is good which merits consideration and if anyone stays online that long he or she would find it difficult to remain idle!!

Chinmoy- I have a friend who logs in and after doing some work talks with friends for considerable time without logging out, then again be active for a few minutes only to start gossip with some visitor without logging out. Thus only by working for fifteen minutes his log in time is two hours.
So, I feel not just log in time but activities should be criteria. The present award for highest points suffices.

Gulshan as he has suggested a longer login award and it can be possible like if some one has stay inactive for 5 minutes then it will automatically log out again he has to log in.
But all these process needs extra software and application so maverick has to decide whether it is possible or not?

I think suggestion is nice but Sobhagya suggestion is also nice . so we need to wait for maveric's reply.

Hope Leader board is the same Award.. the measure is points here.

Leader board award is just for gaining points.if somebody just want to use boddunan for real knowledge purpose then there should be award for it too.

I welcome Soubhagya Das suggestion. continuous inactivity for five minutes should automatically log out. some sites have this facility. But I think that the current reward for maximum points serves the purpose. Longest stay award will benefit those who remain log in in longer but are slow to read and type.

Yes... I too agree with this....
Inactive for more than 5 mins should automatically shutdown(logout). This will give us the exact active members.

certainly,the site Boddunan is a multi functional earning site.It should be awarded for long stay at Boddunan daily.

That was a good suggestion. We planned for few points for top 5 initially but since the top 5 were already making many points we stepped back.

And regarding longest stay, there is no way for us to track the time efficiently as the navigation on any website is stateless.

any sort of money reward will good for top five member. :)
