I have lost interest on the sites

Friends we work here too seriously. We don't post the funny answers. I think this can be one of the reasons behind loosing the interest on this site.

It may be the reason why I lost interest. :blink:

But its more due to less participation of people on the site these days. :blink:

That is not very complementary to the site since you see enough people participating and discussing even humorous topics of course there are no silly threads like there were before which went on and on about nothing in particular :)

With all said and done, members who never used to post threads of their own are posting their threads. I'm happy to see this trend. Another heartening feature is some members who were associated with this side since its inception are visiting this site with thread postings. I can't compare the quality because I have not seen the earlier trend. In this respect, you and Sunil are the right persons to present the picture in the true perspective.

Right now I have all the time at my disposal because of local unrest, my offline jobs are drastically reduced. My mood is the same when there was just 2 hours at my disposal as today. And it will be like this irrespective of the time at my disposal.

True, noone is forcing you to participate , you do so because you like it and while doing that we have to also keep certain things in mind like the rules and regulations of the forum and our own responsibilities ....You cant post something out of context and say I like doing it ! For a starter you can go through some of the older threads and see fr yourself....Quantity was the foremost then, sometimes only avtaars were posted, you know very well ...People simply wanted to amss points without actually posting anything worthwhile many a times discussing personal matters ...

Always using avataars is not good but to some them on some posts if fits well I don't think its bad to use it after all we all here to enjoy the site always writing serious contents leads to boredom. I always have enjoyed forums on various sites through talking to friends and you know it well. :blink:

True. When right balance is struck, an active member realises and relishes too. For them question of boredom or monotony doesn't arise.

It happens with the active members too. It may happen with anyone it all depends on the availability of time. :blink:

Right now I have all the time at my disposal because of local unrest, my offline jobs are drastically reduced. My mood is the same when there was just 2 hours at my disposal as today. And it will be like this irrespective of the time at my disposal.

Friends we work here too seriously. We don't post the funny answers. I think this can be one of the reasons behind loosing the interest on this site.

That is not very complementary to the site since you see enough people participating and discussing even humorous topics of course there are no silly threads like there were before which went on and on about nothing in particular :)

Friends site can never be boring. It is the members who don't make it interesting with their posts. Many of us work with full dedications. Many of us have quitted it due to various reasons. That makes the site boring. Few of us can have just a discussion on less topics. Many of us can posts many and give a number of choices to discuss. I feel this can be the main cause behind this.

A site can be interesting or monotonous depends upon the members' activities with their quality inputs or otherwise. respectively. It amounts to the fact that the member plays a pivotal role in making the site interesting or monotonous. A single member cannot do this. A concerted effort by all the members will certainly make a big difference.

We have the choice to answer those posts which attract our attention or prompt us to make contribution. If we post just for the sake of posting, I am hundred percent sure that will be only to gain points and the quality, well - you can imagine the quality of a filler for yourself.
