Yes you are right. All should treat their all children equally. If we dont treat equally jealous between each other will create. It is the reason for sibling fights.
The major reason behind the sibling fights for the properties is children feel that they are not being treat equally. But we are not aware of this. we think that it is for property. We are not to ready to make analysis to find the real factor behind these fights.
I personally feel that parents can only be equal to all the children while giving them food and other basic needs. But where treating them with regard to any other matter we have to treat them differently because they are different individuals and have their own personalities which a parent should bear in mind.That is my experience since I have three children very different in their nature , with their own strong personalities and individual preferences and I have to see that they are treated the way they want to be,,,
